We help teams fortify their smart contracts, infrastructure, and security postures against emerging threats through deep, long-term partnerships. ## Responsibilities As an intern, you’ll be matched with an internship project that aligns with our core focus areas, designed to contribute meaningfully to the blockchain security space. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with experts while also having the freedom to shape the project based on your interests. Example directions for internship projects: - Applying and expanding the latest research in fuzzing to L1 blockchain validators - Writing a decompiler for a new architecture - Developing robust monitoring tools for security critical events across blockchains - Designing a new static analysis tool for a smart contract runtime ## Requirements - Desire to understand how things work, and the ability to quickly absorb new information. - Strong programming skills in languages like Rust, C, Go, or Python - Keen interest in security - Available for at least 3 months - Sense of integrity—we operate in a high-trust environment, and expect all team members to uphold the highest ethical standards. ## Nice to have - CTF experience and public vulnerability reports are a big plus - Prior experience with blockchain technologies like Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos, or Move on a smart contract level and validator level ## Benefits **This is a paid internship.** Along with financial compensation, you’ll gain hands-on experience in one of the most challenging and high-stakes areas of security research, working in an environment that values autonomy, deep thinking, and meaningful contributions. This role will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, timely reconciliations, and compliance with applicable accounting standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. ## Responsibilities ### Core Accounting & Multi-Entity Finance - Own the general ledger and day-to-day accounting for multiple legal entities - Recording invoices for customer services and reconciling customer accounts against billable time/expenses - Manage month-end close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations across entities - Manage inter-company transactions, allocations, and reconciliations - Handle invoicing, collections, and accounts payable ### Crypto & Web3 Accounting - Track and reconcile crypto payments from clients (ETH, BTC, stablecoins) - Account for crypto treasury holdings and on-chain transactions by entity - Reconcile wallets using blockchain explorers and crypto accounting tools - Maintain practical crypto accounting policies suitable for a startup and multi-entity structure ### Vendor & Customer Onboarding - Own vendor and customer onboarding across multiple entities - Set up and maintain vendor and customer profiles in accounting systems - Collect and manage onboarding documentation (contracts, payment terms, W-9/W-8, wallet addresses) - Ensure correct entity assignment for billing, payments, and revenue recognition - Maintain accurate records for fiat and crypto payment methods ### Compliance & Controls (Startup-Appropriate) - Maintain basic internal controls around payments, invoicing, and wallet access - Support external accountants, tax advisors, and entity-level compliance requirements - Assist with tax filings - Ensure clean, well-documented records for each legal entity ### Process Improvement & Scaling - Build and document simple, scalable accounting and onboarding processes for a multi-entity setup - Improve billing, inter-company, and crypto-tracking workflows - Help select and implement tools as the company grows (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, crypto tracking tools) - Identify gaps and recommend when additional structure or resources are needed ## Requirements ### Required - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role - Strong knowledge of GAAP or IFRS - Experience preparing financial statements and supporting audits - High attention to detail and strong analytical skills ### Preferred - CPA, CA, or equivalent professional certification - Experience working with cryptocurrencies, digital assets, or blockchain-based businesses - Familiarity with crypto wallets, exchanges, and on-chain transaction tracking - Experience in tech startups, SaaS, or Web3 companies ## Compensation and Perks - Competitive salary with holistic bonus - Networking opportunities in the Web3 community: you get to work closely alongside seasoned professionals and mentors across all departments - Free travel - including company offsites and crypto conferences around the globe.
