## Role: **Blockchain & Tokenization Expert (Techno Functional) – Asset Management** **Location:** Remote **Job Type:** Contract (12+ Months) --- ## Role Summary We are seeking a techno-functional specialist who can bridge **Asset/Wealth Management** business processes with blockchain-based tokenization solutions, using the **Ctrl Alt** tokenization infrastructure. The role will translate business goals (e.g., tokenized funds, tokenized share classes, distribution and settlement modernization) into platform requirements, solution designs, and delivery plans, partnering with business stakeholders, architects, engineers, compliance, and operations. --- ## Key Responsibilities ### 1) Product / Business & Operating Model (Asset Management) - Lead discovery workshops to define target use cases (e.g., fund tokenization, tokenized units/shares, investor onboarding, lifecycle events, and distribution). - Map end-to-end Asset Management workflows to tokenized equivalents: onboarding, subscriptions/redemptions, transfers, corporate actions, reconciliations, reporting, and custody interactions. - Define functional requirements for transfer agency / registry, investor eligibility, restrictions, and operational controls (e.g., permissions, approvals, exception handling). - Translate regulatory and compliance requirements into platform controls (KYC/AML, suitability, investor classification, reporting obligations). ### 2) Tokenization Solution Design (Techno Functional) - Define tokenization patterns and data models: token lifecycle, holder registry concepts, entitlement models, and event handling (mint/burn/transfer, freeze, replace). - Produce end-to-end solution designs covering: - On-chain/off-chain boundary decisions - Identity and access management approach - Integration patterns with existing AM systems (order management, TA/registry, fund accounting/NAV, custody, risk/compliance) - Create functional specifications and user stories for engineering teams; validate acceptance criteria with business and compliance stakeholders. ### 3) Ctrl Alt Platform Enablement & Integrations - Act as the primary functional SME for implementation using **Ctrl Alt**, including: - Requirements mapping to platform capabilities (structuring/issuance/management) – [ctrl-alt.co](https://ctrl-alt.co) - Defining integration needs (APIs/events/files) for investor onboarding, issuance, transfers, and reporting - Supporting test strategy and UAT for tokenized product flows - Coordinate with Ctrl Alt and internal engineering teams to ensure integration readiness, data quality, and operational runbooks. ### 4) Delivery, Testing, and Operationalization - Own the end-to-end delivery plan for tokenization initiatives: scope, milestones, dependencies, and go-live readiness. - Define test scenarios and validation checks across workflows (onboarding, KYC/AML, transfers, distribution, reconciliation, reporting). - Develop operating procedures and controls for production: monitoring, incident workflows, audit evidence, and change management. ### 5) Stakeholder Management & Thought Leadership - Partner with senior stakeholders across Product, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Technology. - Produce executive-ready artifacts: business case, operating model impacts, risk/control assessments, and roadmap options. - Track external ecosystem trends relevant to fund tokenization and digital securities sandboxes (e.g., initiatives such as digital securities sandbox participation referenced publicly) – [ir.seic.com](https://ir.seic.com) --- ## Required Skills & Experience ### Asset / Wealth Management Domain (Must Have) - 8–15+ years in Asset/Wealth Management with strong knowledge of: - Fund lifecycle (subscriptions/redemptions, transfers, corporate actions) - Investor onboarding and eligibility - Fund administration / TA & registry concepts - Reconciliations and reporting ### Blockchain / Tokenization (Must Have) - Hands-on knowledge of tokenization concepts (digital representation of assets, token lifecycle, transfer restrictions, whitelisting/permissions). - Ability to design "tokenized fund" business processes and map them to system and data requirements. ### Techno Functional Delivery (Must Have) - Strong experience writing functional specs/user stories and translating business requirements into technical designs. - Experience coordinating multi-party implementations (vendor platform + internal systems + compliance + ops). - Familiarity with API-based integration patterns, event-driven workflows, and data governance. --- **Regards,** Himanshu Rawat himanshu@carmansg.com *When applying, mention the word CANDYSHOP to show you read the job post completely.*
