With support from the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) of iFinex, Compliance Officer El Salvador (CO) and the iFinex Compliance Team, the DCO will be accountable for supporting the CO with the implementation, maintenance and day to day compliance of the corporate AML/CFT and Sanctions (referred to as the “Compliance Policy”) and applicable compliance laws and regulations. This role reports directly to the CO of BFX El Salvador with a ‘dotted line’ relationship to the Chief Compliance Officer of iFinex Inc. to ensure alignment with the enterprise AML Program. The incumbent will work remotely and be required to work flexibly across multiple time zones. The incumbent will be resident in El Salvador and be fluent in Spanish (native) and English (intermediate). The role requires excellent communication skill and proficiency in research, report, and policy writing and sufficient knowledge of anti money laundering, counter terrorist financing and international sanctions, the concept of risk assessment and El Salvador’s regulatory framework as a requisite. And ideally the incumbent will have an interest in the understanding of blockchain technology and the concept of financial inclusion and freedom; a demonstrated understanding of the concept of the Bitcoin Blockchain and Stable Coins is an advantage. ## **Your Day-to-Day:** **Support to the Compliance Officer and CCO** - Provide day-to-day support in the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of the AML/CFT/Sanctions Program for Bitfinex El Salvador. - Serve as acting Compliance Officer in circumstances where the CO is unavailable, ensuring continuity of regulatory obligations, reporting, and oversight. Assisting the CO as a secondary point of contact for regulators in El Salvador, including CNAD, the FIU and other governmental bodies. - Assist the CO and CCO with proposing program updates aligned with local and global regulatory expectations and best practices. **Compliance Policies, Procedures, and Framework Management** - Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining Compliance Policies, Procedures, internal controls, and operational guidelines in accordance with the laws of El Salvador and international standards (including FATF Recommendations). - Support the annual review and continuous enhancement of the Compliance Manual and related documentation. - Participate in the coordination and support to the execution, and documentation of annual and ongoing AML/CFT enterprise risk assessments with the correspondent iFinex RA team. **Reporting of Suspicious Activity and others** - Support the CO in the revision, translation and filing of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) with the FIU working closely with iFinex investigations team. - Support the CO in the preparation and submission of regulated transactions ($1k+ transactions/Travel Rule). - Assist with ensuring proper reporting compliance consistent with applicable Salvadoran AML Law, Digital Asset Issuance Law, CNAD regulations, and institutional requirements, maintaining the Compliance Calendar/Diary, including deadlines for regulatory submissions, and audits. ## **What You Bring to the Table:** The DCO is an individual who has knowledge of virtual assets markets and expertise in evaluating AML, CTF and sanctions risks and issues, and who supports day-to-day compliance pursuant to applicable compliance laws, regulations, and best practices. In addition, the DCO has: - Foundational knowledge of AML/CFT/Sanctions regulations in El Salvador and familiarity with FATF standards. - 1+ years of experience in AML/CFT/Sanctions related roles. - Active AML International Certification (CAMS, AMLCA or similar) - preferred. - Understanding of virtual assets, blockchain and exchange operations, market structures (is an advantage). - Familiarity with AML compliance and blockchain analytics systems (is an advantage).

Bitfinex stands as one of the oldest crypto platforms in a highly innovative environment. As an institutional and professional exchange with large and more sophisticated investors, the Content Marketing Manager must be able to speak their language, and write on topics, markets, new initiatives and developments in the space. We are looking for a sharp, engaged and knowledgeable individual who can write well, succinctly and to deadlines and meet all our content needs. He/She should be alert to the crypto newsflow, be able to suggest content ideas and produce well-sourced, editorial content that educates and informs. The right candidate will also be involved in editing Bitfinex Alpha, our flagship research product, written by a team of traders and analysts who are immersed in the markets. He/She will be a major contributor to the Bitfinex blog and lead educational initiatives with our partners and the listed projects on the exchange. He/she will also be responsible for promoting research and trading ideas in other forums to ensure greater recognition of Bitfinex’s thought leadership, and be able to promote Bitfinex exchange products as well as products of Bitfinex Securities. The role will suit someone who can both absorb information, take direction and execute but who also has the interest and passion to communicate ideas and suggest topics for new content. ## **Your Day-to-Day:** - Accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver sales and customer retention. - Collaborates across functions to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives - This role requires a brand publisher mindset: to create the content our audience is looking for and then to optimize the path to conversion - Editorial requirements include SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement. Development of editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone. - Editorial calendar and organization workflows must be developed and managed. - Channel management of digital content hubs and all supporting social channels including email / newsletter distribution.
