The opportunity

We’re seeking a Copywriter who is deeply immersed in the world of crypto, someone who not only writes well, but truly gets crypto. We’re looking for someone with at least a year of experience at a crypto company and a genuine personal passion for the space.

This is a unique opportunity to help define the brand voice of crypto’s leading prop firm and craft high-impact messaging across paid, organic, and owned channels.

In this role, you’ll concept and write for ads, organic content, community channels, and the marketing site. You’ll collaborate closely with an in-house designer and a network of freelance creatives, working side-by-side with growth, lifecycle, and brand teams. Your work will directly impact our growth as a company, helping to unlock new audiences and educate consumers to become talented traders.

• Develop and evolve Breakout’s brand voice across paid, organic, and owned platforms utilizing your deep knowledge of the crypto space and tone.
• Concept and write creative for paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, X, YouTube, Google, and programmatic channels.
• Craft organic content for X, Discord, Reddit, and community-driven environments.
• Write website copy, landing pages, lifecycle messaging, and other owned-channel communications.
• Partner with the in-house designer and freelance creative talent to bring ideas to life, continually testing new ideas.
• Work cross-functionally with Growth and Lifecycle teams to test messaging, evaluate performance, and iterate rapidly.
• Distill complex crypto and trading concepts into clear, compelling, and conversion-oriented messaging.

Skills you should HODL

• 5+ years of copywriting experience, preferably client-side at a startup, fintech, or tech-driven organization.
• At least 1 year of experience working at a crypto company, with genuine enthusiasm for the category.
• Strong portfolio showing conceptual thinking, storytelling range, and adaptability across formats.
• Experienced writing for performance and brand across Meta, TikTok, X, YouTube, Google, and crypto-native platforms.
• Able to translate complex or technical topics into accessible, motivating narratives.
• Highly collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, experiment-driven environment.
• Detail-oriented, curious, and energized by the opportunity to shape the voice of the top prop trading firm in crypto.
