Position Overview

The Private Equity Intern will support Inversion’s investment team across the full lifecycle of evaluating, executing, and supporting deals. The role provides hands-on exposure to private equity investing in a fast-paced environment at the intersection of technology, finance, and operating businesses, with direct involvement in financial analysis, diligence, and transaction execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Investment research.
• Financial analysis, valuation, and financial modeling.
• Industry and competitive analysis.
• Business diligence.
• Drafting of memoranda for internal and external use.
• Assistance in the execution and financing of transactions.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled undergraduate or MBA students with demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous analysis and produce clear, high-quality written work.
• Demonstrated interest in private equity and frontier technology.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
• Sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a small, high-accountability team.
• Strong verbal communication skills and comfort interacting with senior professionals.

International Students & Visa Holders

We welcome international students with valid U.S. work authorization, including CPT through an accredited university, and candidates must be able to obtain and maintain authorization for the full duration of the internship.

Compensation

Interns will be paid at a rate of $1000/week. The role offers meaningful hands-on experience working directly with investors and operators at the intersection of blockchain infrastructure and real-world business transformation.
