This is a full-time role</p><br><p><strong>Who we are looking for</strong></p><p>We’re hiring a Senior Blockchain Developer to join our blockchain infrastructure team. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on building and scaling our core chain architecture.</p><p>You’ll work directly on node infrastructure, consensus mechanisms, cross-chain systems, and protocol-level design alongside our application team.</p><br><p>Needed experience</p><p><span>• Experience with blockchain node infrastructure, consensus mechanisms, and system design</span></p><br><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul> <li>Design and architect blockchain solutions to meet business and technical requirements.</li> <li>Lead the development and implementation of blockchain-based applications and services.</li> <li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate blockchain technology into Global Settlement's payment platform.</li> <li>Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of blockchain solutions.</li> <li>Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in blockchain technology.</li> <li>Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.</li> <li>Develop and maintain documentation for blockchain architectures and implementations.</li> <li>Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with blockchain solutions.</li> <li>Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.</li> </ul><br><p><strong>What You’ll Do</strong></p><ul> <li>Design, build, and maintain blockchain node infrastructure and settlement protocol architecture</li> <li>Implement and optimize consensus mechanisms (PoA, PoS, BFT variants) for enterprise-grade performance and finality</li> <li>Architect cross-chain communication and bridging systems for multi-network interoperability</li> <li>Collaborate with smart contract and application teams to deliver integrated blockchain solutions</li> <li>Drive security, scalability, and reliability across all chain-level systems</li> <li>Lead technical research on emerging protocols, L1/L2 architectures, and settlement patterns</li> <li>Provide technical mentorship to developers across the engineering organization</li> <li>Own documentation for blockchain architecture decisions, RFCs, and implementation standards</li> <li>Participate in code reviews and establish best practices for infrastructure development</li> </ul><br><p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p><ul> <li>5+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years focused on blockchain development</li> <li>Deep hands-on experience with blockchain node infrastructure, consensus algorithms, and protocol-level system design</li> <li>Strong proficiency in one or more: Rust, Go, Solidity, Java, or Python</li> <li>Working knowledge of blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Cosmos, Hyperledger, or comparable L1/L2 networks</li> <li>Solid understanding of cryptographic primitives, key management, and on-chain security practices</li> <li>Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)</li> <li>Track record of shipping production blockchain infrastructure—not just smart contracts</li> </ul><br><p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><ul> <li>Experience with stablecoin systems, CBDC infrastructure, or RWA tokenization</li> <li>Familiarity with cross-chain protocols</li> <li>Background in financial services, payments, or regulated settlement systems</li> <li>Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in digital asset markets</li> </ul><p><strong>Note: </strong>This is primarily a blockchain infrastructure role. Smart contract development is part of the work, but the core focus is on chain-level architecture, consensus, node operations, and cross-chain systems.
