ZIGChain is a Layer 1 blockchain focused on unlocking financial opportunities for everyone, regardless of income, location, or level of technical knowledge. We operate in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment where clarity, ownership, and adaptability are essential. In this regulated, reputation-sensitive space, how we present ourselves visually is as critical as the technology we build.
ZIGChain is seeking a senior, systems-minded operations expert to own and evolve our organizational operating system. This is a high-impact individual contributor role for someone ready to take the helm of a scalable, already-built Asana-based workflow system and drive it forward—ensuring clarity, speed, and predictable execution across the entire organization.
We've already built the foundation. You're inheriting a functional, well-architected operating system in Asana with core processes, templates, and documentation in place. Your role is to become the expert operator of this system, continuously refine it based on real-world usage, and evolve it as the organization grows. You will personally own the system's reliability, adoption, and continuous improvement. You will also own the creation and maintenance of our operational handbook—the single source of truth for how we work. Most importantly, you will ensure our operational standards stay encoded in the system itself, eliminating the need for manual check-ins and enabling predictable quality and speed without continuous manual intervention.
This is a role for someone ready to move beyond just managing projects and create a force-multiplier for the entire organization. If you are driven by creating leverage, optimizing systems, and operating at the intersection of process and people, this is your opportunity to ensure our operational excellence becomes a competitive advantage.
We believe in outcomes over tasks. Here's what you'll be accountable for delivering:
You will conduct a comprehensive audit of the existing Asana system, understanding every workflow, template, and integration. You will identify optimization opportunities and quick wins that can be implemented immediately. You will establish yourself as the expert operator and single source of truth for how the system works. You will create or update comprehensive process documentation and keep building out our operational handbook—clear, accessible guides for how we work, who does what, and when. You will begin driving adoption across teams that may not yet be fully using the system.
The system will be operating at full capacity with all teams actively using it as the central source of truth. You will have optimized at least two major cross-functional processes based on real usage data, measurably improving time-to-execution and reducing bottlenecks. You will be the primary operator and advocate, ensuring the system remains reliable and driving continuous refinement based on team feedback and data.
The system will be deeply embedded in how the organization works. You will have evolved the system to support new business needs and team growth, adding new workflows and integrations as required. You will have established clear metrics demonstrating increased velocity, reduced bottlenecks, and improved team clarity. Operations will be recognized as a key strategic enabler and multiplier for the organization. You will remain accountable for the system's quality, reliability, and continuous evolution based on data and user feedback.
You have a proven track record as a senior individual contributor with demonstrable experience building operational systems that scale beyond your own personal execution. You are a systems thinker by nature—you instinctively look for ways to reduce manual work, eliminate inconsistencies, and build for the long term. You prioritize clarity and efficiency over ad-hoc solutions.
You are an expert in your craft, with mastery of Asana, but your true passion lies in building the factory, not just the car. You thrive on creating order from chaos and empowering others through well-designed processes and clear documentation. You understand that the 'people' part of process is about making work easier and clearer for everyone—and that documentation is how you scale that clarity.
You are comfortable operating autonomously while imposing structure and long-term direction. You are comfortable with ambiguity and have a demonstrated ability to create structure and provide direction in a fast-moving, remote environment. You prefer owning outcomes over delegating tasks, and you lead through expertise and influence, not through a formal management title.
Hit the Ground Running. The system is already built and functional. You step in as the expert operator and custodian of a well-designed operating system, with the opportunity to optimize and evolve it immediately. No lengthy setup phase—you can start driving impact from day one.
Unmatched Impact. Your work will directly influence every team in the organization and will be critical to our ability to execute with speed and clarity in a highly regulated environment.
Radical Ownership.
