Instanodes is a Web3 infrastructure platform designed to help enterprises, protocols, and node operators deploy, manage, and scale validator nodes and blockchain infrastructure in a secure, automated, and enterprise-grade environment.

The platform focuses on simplifying complex blockchain operations such as validator participation, node monitoring, security, scaling, and infrastructure management while maintaining reliability and operational transparency required by institutional clients.

Role Summary

We are hiring a Product Technical Writer who will own, structure, and scale all technical documentation for the Instanodes platform.

This is a core product role, not a marketing or blog-writing position. The role requires hands-on involvement with engineers, DevOps teams, and product managers to produce clear, accurate, and developer-friendly documentation that enables customers and partners to independently understand, deploy, operate, and integrate the platform.

The documentation created in this role will directly support:

• Customer onboarding
• Validator operations
• Enterprise sales and pre-sales conversations
• Partner and protocol integrations
• Support reduction and self-serve adoption

You will act as the documentation bridge between engineering teams and go-to-market teams.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Platform Documentation

• Own the end-to-end documentation lifecycle for the Instanodes platform
• Produce structured documentation including:
  • Product overviews
  • Architecture documentation
  • Feature and module documentation
  • Persona-based user journeys (enterprises, protocol teams, node operators)
• Create and maintain:
  • User guides
  • Configuration guides
  • Operational workflows
  • Platform feature references
• Ensure documentation remains current with product releases and roadmap updates

Validator & Infrastructure Documentation

• Document technical workflows related to:
  • Validator node setup and onboarding
  • Network participation workflows
  • Node monitoring and alerting
  • Backup, redundancy, and disaster recovery
  • Upgrades, patching, and maintenance
  • Key management and security practices
• Translate blockchain and infrastructure concepts into:
  • Clear step-by-step procedures
  • Role-based operational documentation
  • Operational best practices

Developer & API Documentation

• Create and maintain:
  • API documentation
  • Integration guides
  • Webhook and automation workflows
• Collaborate closely with backend and platform engineers to ensure:
  • Accuracy
  • Version alignment
  • Release-based updates
• Support developers integrating Instanodes into their applications and systems

Onboarding & Self-Serve Enablement

• Build documentation that enables customers to onboard independently
• Reduce dependency on solution engineers and support teams
• Develop:
  • Quick-start guides
  • Onboarding checklists
  • FAQs
  • Troubleshooting documentation
• Improve time-to-first-success for new users

Enterprise & Pre-Sales Enablement Content

• Create technical product materials supporting:
  • Enterprise sales
  • Solution engineering
  • Demos and Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs)
• Contribute to:
  • Architecture explainers
  • Platform capability documentation
  • Technical responses for RFPs and proposals

Release & Change Documentation

• Work with product managers and engineering teams to publish:
  • Release notes
  • Feature documentation
  • Migration and upgrade guides
  • Backward compatibility notes
• Ensure documentation updates are aligned with every product release

Documentation System & Knowledge Base

• Maintain documentation structure, navigation, and usability
• Manage:
  • Versioning
  • Content ownership
  • Taxonomy and hierarchy
• Ensure documentation is usable by:
  • Customers
  • Internal teams
  • Partners and integrators

Cross-Functional Collaboration

You will work closely with:

• Backend engineers
• DevOps / SRE teams
• Blockchain engineers
• Product managers
• Solution engineers and pre-sales teams

The role requires actively understanding features from engineers and translating them into clear documentation for users and customers.

Required Skills

Core Technical Writing Skills

• Experience creating:
  • Technical and product documentation

• Ability to convert complex systems into logical, searchable, and easy-to-consume documentation

Technical Understanding

• Good understanding of:
  • Cloud infrastructure concepts
  • Linux/server environments

• Working knowledge (or strong learning ability) in:
  • Blockchain nodes
  • Validator infrastructure
  • RPC endpoints

Experience

3–6 years of experience as:

• Technical Writer
• Product Documentation Specialist
• Developer Documentation Writer

Prior experience in SaaS platforms, cloud/DevOps tools, or infrastructure/developer products is strongly preferred.

Tools & Platforms (Preferred)

• Git-based documentation workflows
• Markdown
• Docusaurus, GitBook, ReadMe, or similar documentation platforms
• Swagger / OpenAPI
• Confluence / Notion
• Diagramming tools (Lucidchart, Draw.io, Miro, etc.)
