Visit our website at **www.cleanspark.com**. ## Job Overview CleanSpark seeks a talented and motivated Real Estate Attorney with at least 3–5 years of commercial real estate experience to support the company’s aggressive growth in site acquisitions, land development, and infrastructure expansion. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys advising on high-value real estate transactions and development, and wants to work closely with business teams to drive projects from concept through completion. The attorney will provide hands-on legal support for property acquisitions, site due diligence, entitlements, land use, permitting, zoning, title/survey review, commercial leasing, easements, and development agreements. The role offers substantial responsibility, autonomy, and direct business interaction, with the opportunity to influence strategic decisions at a high-growth company. Attorney will be expected to coordinate with external counsel and contractors as needed for each project and provide regular status updates and work closely with the General Counsel and the leadership team throughout each project. Travel will be expected but can be discussed. ## Key Responsibilities - Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, ground leases, option agreements, easements, rights-of-way, utility agreements, and development-related contracts. - Manage real estate due diligence for acquisitions and development projects, including title/survey review, environmental reports, geotech, zoning, and land-use constraints. - Support project teams in zoning, permitting, and entitlement strategies in coordination with outside land-use counsel, consultants, and local authorities. - Advise internal stakeholders on property rights, land development risks, permitting pathways, utility access, and site-readiness considerations. - Oversee and direct outside counsel on real estate and land-use matters as needed. - Partner with internal teams (Development, Construction, Engineering, Operations, M&A) to structure and execute transactions and ensure alignment with company objectives. - Support project timelines, closing checklists, critical date tracking, and closing processes for real estate transactions. - Assist with corporate governance documents, entity formation for property holdings, and coordination with finance for transaction approvals. - Contribute to template development, process improvements, and scaling legal workflows as the company expands. - Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local land-use laws, environmental requirements, and company policies. - Additional duties as assigned. This role requires professionalism, respect, strong communication, and the ability to work well with others in a team-oriented, inclusive environment. ## Required Qualifications - J.D. from an accredited law school; active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (Utah or Nevada preferred but not required). - 3–5 years of substantive commercial real estate experience in a title company, law firm, in-house legal department, or real estate development company. - Strong experience with acquisitions, title/survey, land development, permitting, and negotiating real estate contracts. - Familiarity with energy infrastructure, data centers, utilities, or industrial development is a plus but not required. - Strong project-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple transactions and deadlines independently. - Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills. - Business-oriented mindset and practical problem-solving approach. - Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, collaborative, and entrepreneurial environment. ## Salary Range $175,000 - $225,000 a year ## Additional Information This position may involve duties that require operation of a company vehicle or travel between job sites. This position works as an integral part of a larger team who provides 24/7 coverage and support for Mining Operations. **Starting Pay:** $23.00 - $26.00 per hour ### Responsibilities and Duties - Inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems such as piping and non-critical electrical or mechanical system components. - Ensure environmental and safety standards are consistently met, identifying problems, and making repairs quickly. - Read blueprints/schematics, conduct tours of systems, and assess their working order. - Manage data center performance issues and outages to minimize the recovery time from failures. - Support integration of new equipment and systems into facilities infrastructure. - Additional duties as required. ### Qualifications - **Education:** High School or GED Equivalent. - **Experience:** While technician experience is helpful, no prior experience is required— we’ll train you on the job. - **Specific Skills:** Ability to work without supervision and complete assigned tasks; basic computer skills. - **Personal Characteristics:** Pro-active, helpful, conscientious, and pride in a job well done; team player. Visit our website at **www.cleanspark.com**. ## Key Responsibilities - Prepares audit support and responds to quarterly and annual auditor requests, demonstrating flexibility to meet critical deadlines during reporting and tax cycles. - Leads technical accounting research efforts and authors accounting position memos on complex or non-routine transactions (e.g., business combinations, asset acquisitions, PP&E, equity, investments, debt, digital assets). - Prepares and reviews disclosures and supporting schedules for SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K. - Communicates effectively across accounting, tax, operations, and external auditors to ensure alignment and timely reporting. - Helps maintain accounting policy documentation and identifies opportunities to streamline reporting and close activities. - Supports the execution of internal controls over financial reporting in accordance with SOX 404, including walkthroughs, control documentation updates, and evidence preparation. - Collaborates with the tax department to review key components of the income tax provision under ASC 740. - Additional duties as assigned. ## Required Qualifications - Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required. - 3–6 years of progressive experience in public accounting or in technical accounting or financial reporting at a public company. - Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and related reporting requirements. - Demonstrated experience writing or reviewing technical accounting memos and footnote disclosures. - Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, including pivot tables, formulas, and document formatting. - Valid U.S. driver’s license (driving is an essential function of the role). - Ability to pass an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check. - Ability to work on-site and complete physical tasks such as lifting up to 25 lbs, standing for extended periods, or operating equipment as needed. - Willingness to support after-hours response or weekend work, when required. ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience with investment accounting or digital asset accounting (e.g., crypto holdings, derivatives, fair value disclosures). - Experience with NetSuite, FloQast, DFin, Workiva, and/or Certent. - Experience working in a high-growth or fast-paced public company environment. ## Salary Range $90,000 - $100,000 a year ## Additional Information This position may involve duties that require operation of a company vehicle or travel between job sites.
