Consensys alumni have moved on to become tech entrepreneurs, CEOs, and team leads at tech companies. ## Role Overview You will shape our Asia Pacific (APAC) KOL/influencer strategy and community growth across X, Telegram, Youtube, WeChat and other social channels. Your mandate is to scale awareness, trust, and user activation by building high-impact creator partnerships, running world-class community operations, and shipping measurable marketing campaigns. ## Key Responsibilities ### KOL/Influencer Marketing - Source, vet, negotiate, and manage creators; develop briefs and content calendars aligned to GTM milestones. - Establish and nurture relationships with key influencers and identify new partnership opportunities to expand brand reach and influence within the web3 community. - Stand up an affiliate/referral program with UTM links, promo codes, and revenue-share where applicable; manage KOL budget and payouts. - Track and analyze KOL campaign performance using key metrics, provide regular reports, and recommend data-driven strategies for improvement. ### Community Management - Own day-to-day operations and growth of community groups on Telegram, X, WeChat, and other social media channels. - Localize community initiatives and content for priority markets; coordinate AMAs, IRL/virtual events, meetups. - Build feedback loops from community to product, BD, and support. ### Integrated Marketing and GTM - Deliver channel plan and campaigns for product launches and integrations with clear positioning and messaging. - Effectively partner with Product Marketing, Brand/Creative, Social, and Product teams to ensure integrated and coherent messaging across all initiatives. ## Qualifications - 3-6 years of experience in Web3 marketing, directly contributing to community growth and impactful influencer collaborations. - Proven success in influencer marketing or KOL management within Web3, blockchain, or cryptocurrency, with a strong ability to manage and leverage KOL relationships to achieve marketing goals. - Extensive network with Web3 KOLs and demonstrated strong account management skills to readily leverage existing relationships for impactful campaigns. - Deep familiarity with crypto culture and products. - Experience utilizing social media platforms and analytics tools to measure the impact of influencer and community initiatives on key business metrics. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong rapport and collaborate effectively with content creators and influencers, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and campaign goals. - Contracting and budget management; comfortable negotiating rates and deliverables. - Fluent in English and Mandarin. ## Nice to Have - Experience building KOL programs for exchanges. - Local market expertise with strong creator/KOL network in Greater China, South Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asia. - Can demonstrate measurable ROI from past influencer campaigns. - Moonlight as an emerging KOL himself/herself. - Additional languages (e.g., Korean, Japanese). *Don't meet all the requirements? Your job will be to deliver, upgrade and maintain infrastructure with high cybersecurity standards (ISO/SOC2). You will be involved and drive in our code deployment (CI / CD) and setting-up, configuring and running development/test and staging/production infrastructure across multiple products and critical applications and multiple cloud providers (AWS, Azure). Your work will inform our go-to-market strategies and help to attract the next billion users to web3. ### What you’ll do: - Partner with Marketing leadership to define and measure success on high impact growth initiatives for both MetaMask and Linea - Coach, mentor and manage 1-2 direct reports ensuring they are set up for success in their respective roles - Prepare both recurring and ad hoc reports and presentations for senior leadership, including the Chief Marketing Officer, and leverage your data visualization and storytelling skills to influence decision making. - Work across our Marketing stack - including but not limited Google Analytics, Brandwatch, Segment, Mixpanel, dbt, Cube, Preset and HubSpot - to make sure stakeholders have access to the information and feedback they need to optimize owned, earned, and paid media campaigns - Accelerate execution against our attribution and marketing performance measurement roadmap and foster data-driven decision making culture throughout the Marketing org - Proactively identify opportunities to improve the return on marketing investments, providing actionable recommendations to key decision makers and following up to measure the impact of your recommendations. - Design and implement process and tooling improvement, taking advantage of the latest in LLMs and agentic frameworks, to improve collaboration in a virtual environment and increase team productivity ### Would be great if you brought this to the role - Intrinsically motivated, intellectually curious, and aligned with the Consensys mission and values. - Demonstrable interest in Web3 and previous exposure to on-chain data - Mastery of both SQL and Python; prior experience working in dbt - Conversant in attribution, customer segmentation, marketing mix modeling, A/B testing and other core concepts from marketing analytics and site analytics - Compelling storyteller and effective communicator, both written and verbal. - Adept at using data visualizations to convey a density of information with a paucity of means. - Proven success working on cross-functional teams and managing concurrent projects with multiple stakeholders. - Comfortable navigating both complexity and ambiguity, working autonomously to maximize your impact. - A player coach who leads by example and doesn’t hesitate to contribute directly to supporting stakeholders Don't meet all the requirements?
