You thrive in fast-moving environments where priorities shift quickly, details matter, and no two days look exactly the same. You're highly organized, operationally sharp, and naturally proactive. You notice friction early and instinctively jump in to help. Whether it's coordinating interviews, supporting onboarding workflows, updating employee records, or helping keep processes organized, you're comfortable figuring things out and getting things done. You're not afraid to ask questions along the way, and you know how to balance ownership with curiosity when navigating new situations. You know that strong employee experiences don't happen accidentally, and you take pride in helping support thoughtful, organized experiences throughout the employee lifecycle. ## What You'll Do As our **People & Talent Partner**, you'll help support the day-to-day operations of the People & Culture team at Blockworks. You'll work closely with the Head of Talent & Organizational Effectiveness across recruiting, onboarding, employee support, and People operations to help keep processes organized and running smoothly as the company scales. Every day will look a little different, but in general, you will: - **Support Day-to-Day People Operations:** You'll assist with employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, promotions, transfers, offboarding, employee records updates, payroll coordination support, leave administration support, benefits administration support, documentation updates, and general People team administration. - **Maintain Employee Records & Systems Accuracy:** You'll help maintain accurate employee information across HR and recruiting systems, trackers, documentation, and internal records. - **Support Onboarding & Employee Setup:** You'll assist with onboarding coordination from offer acceptance through the first 90 days, including scheduling, onboarding communications, documentation, employee setup tasks, and helping new hires feel prepared for their first day. - **Support Recruiting & Hiring Coordination:** You'll help move candidates through the hiring process, including resume screening, interview scheduling, sourcing support, candidate communication, and maintaining a strong candidate experience from intro call through offer stage. - **Support Employee Experience Programs:** You'll help coordinate onboarding experiences, employee touchpoints, engagement activities, internal communications, and company programs that support the employee experience at Blockworks. - **Coordinate Across Teams to Support Operations:** You'll work closely with Finance, Operations, hiring managers, and leadership to help coordinate People-related workflows, scheduling, communications, and day-to-day operational support. - **Assist with Internal Events & Team Coordination:** You'll help support onboarding sessions, team initiatives, internal programming, and coordination for the company's annual retreat and other internal events. - **Provide General People Team Support:** You'll assist with documentation updates, administrative tasks, recruiting coordination, employee requests, and additional People & Culture support as needed. Familiarity with tools like Ashby, Sequoia, Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, or similar systems is a plus. ## About Us Blockworks is an information platform that sits at the center of the crypto industry. We transform raw, complex data and facts into actionable research, trusted alpha-driven insights, and world-class events. The result is transparency and confidence. We enable investors, operators, and institutions to see past the noise, make better decisions, and drive the industry forward. ## Who You Are You're a seasoned sales operator with a track record that speaks for itself. You've closed complex, multi-stakeholder deals, navigated long enterprise cycles, and built books of business from scratch. You understand how crypto companies and financial institutions think, what they're trying to solve, and how to position data infrastructure as a strategic asset — not a line item. You bring conviction to every conversation. You're the person in the room who's done the homework, knows the product cold, and can earn a C-Suite Executive’s trust in the first thirty minutes. You're not waiting to be handed a territory or a playbook. You build both. You operate with urgency and discipline. You know how to run a tight process, keep deals moving, and hold yourself accountable to outcomes — not activity for activity's sake. You're competitive, you want to win, and you understand that the best sellers are also the best listeners. ## What You’ll Do Every day will look a little different, but in general, you’ll do things like: - **Drive New Business:** You'll own a full sales cycle across a defined list of accounts — from prospecting and outreach to pitching, negotiating, and closing. You'll build your pipeline proactively, source your own opportunities, and develop a strong sense of which accounts are worth your time. Like other sellers, you’ll work across the full Blockworks product suite, with a greater focus on higher-tier and higher-potential accounts. - **Create Custom Solutions:** You'll develop proposals that span Blockworks' data, media, and events products. You'll take the time to understand what a partner is actually trying to achieve and put together something that genuinely moves the needle for them — not a generic deck. - **Land and Expand:** You'll build multi-threaded relationships inside your accounts. You close the first deal, then go wider and deeper — bringing in more business lines, bigger commitments, and longer partnerships. Your account base will be more concentrated in higher-tier clients, including leading crypto protocols, institutional players, and larger organizations entering the space. - **Work with Marquee Partners:** Your counterparts are CMOs, heads of growth, VPs of marketing, and founders at tier-1 crypto protocols, financial institutions, and Fortune 500 brands entering the space. You operate comfortably at that level. While deal types are consistent across the team, these accounts often involve more stakeholders, longer sales cycles, and broader partnership scopes. - **Stay on Top of the Industry:** You'll track what's happening in crypto closely enough that it becomes a natural part of how you sell — not background reading you do once a month. Emerging narratives, new protocols, capital flows — you use all of it to get into conversations earlier and sharper. You’ll lead more advanced conversations around Blockworks’ data product, helping clients understand how it fits into their workflows across research, trading, and strategy teams. - **Represent Blockworks IRL:** You'll attend key industry events, meet partners in person, and use those moments to accelerate relationships and create pipeline that doesn't come from cold outreach. - **Operate with Discipline:** You'll log everything in the CRM, forecast accurately, and manage your pipeline with rigor. You understand that discipline in process is what separates reps who have good months from reps who have good years. Deals in this role will often be larger in size, typically in the ~$100k–$250k+ range depending on scope and structure. - **Raise the Bar Internally:** You’ll play an active role in mentoring other sellers, sharing what’s working, and helping raise the level of the team. Success in this role goes beyond your own number. Experimentation is frequent at Blockworks. Comfortability with being uncomfortable is a must. ## What You’ve Done Before You've spent at least five years in a closing sales role — ideally in crypto, SaaS, or emerging tech. You've consistently exceeded quota and have the receipts to prove it. You've closed seven-figure enterprise deals and can walk through those deals in detail: who you sold to, how you built the case, how you got it done. You've managed your own book of business with accountability and creativity. You know how to work a long cycle without losing momentum and how to accelerate one when timing is right. You've built real relationships — not just transactional ones — with senior stakeholders who would pick up the phone if you called today. ## It’d Be Great If You’ve Done This - Have sold data or SaaS products alongside partnerships that span media, events, and content. - Have direct experience working with or selling into DeFi protocols, crypto exchanges, or institutional digital asset teams. - Are already using AI to research accounts, draft outreach, and move faster. - Have taken on informal leadership — mentoring others, helping shape team process, or owning projects outside your direct quota responsibility. ## Salary, Benefits, & How We Work This is a full time exempt position with an expected salary of $120,000/year. OTE $240,000. ### Benefits - **Remote-First:** We're a remote-first organization with an office in NYC for you to utilize as you please. - **100% Medical Coverage for You:** Close to fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for you, and a significant portion covered for your dependents. - **Flexible PTO:** We have a flexible paid time off policy that doesn't limit the number of vacation days you can take. - **Parental Leave:** At Blockworks, all team members are eligible for 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave. - **Hardware Stipend:** Every team member has a stipend to use to purchase the tools and technology that help them be their most productive. - **Learning & Growth Stipend:** Every team member has a stipend to spend on their skill growth and professional development. - **Career Growth:** We prioritize skill growth and career development, and we have a clear, documented structure to take the guesswork out of individual development and career progression. - **Global & Diverse Team:** We're a global team, and we're committed to creating an open, inclusive, and diverse work culture. ## Come build with us; we're just getting started! We know that diversity makes for the best problem-solving and creative thinking. We are dedicated to adding new perspectives to the team and encourage everyone to apply if your experience is close to what we are looking for. Blockworks is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status. We transform raw, complex data and facts into actionable research, trusted alpha-driven insights, and world-class events. The result is transparency and confidence. We enable investors, operators, and institutions to see past the noise, make better decisions, and drive the industry forward. ## Who You Are You’re a hyper-organized, proactive operator who thrives in fast-moving environments. You love bringing structure to chaos, keeping teams aligned, and ensuring details never slip. You’re the person people rely on when calendars get messy, information needs to flow, or a dozen moving pieces all need to land at once. People trust you because you follow through — nothing falls through the cracks on your watch. You enjoy creating order, maintaining systems, and supporting teams so they can focus on what they do best. You anticipate needs before they arise, spot problems early, and take pride in polished execution. You’re excited about podcasts, media, or crypto (bonus if all three), and you want to play a key operational role in a team where strong coordination is the backbone of everything we do. ## What You’ll Do As an **Operations Coordinator**, you’ll support the podcast team, as well as the broader organization, with scheduling, coordination, communication, and operational execution that keeps our shows and teams moving quickly and effectively. Every day will look a little different, but in general, you will do things like: - **Scheduling & Calendar Management:** You’ll own internal and external scheduling for podcast recordings, managing availability, time zones, and guest logistics. You’ll keep shared calendars accurate, up to date, and conflict-free. - **Manage the Production Calendar:** You’ll maintain accurate production timelines, coordinate recording schedules, track deadlines, and keep the broader podcast calendar organized so episodes move through the workflow smoothly and on time. - **Professional Communications:** You’ll send timely, polished communication to podcast guests, partners, sponsors, and internal stakeholders across email, Slack, Telegram, and social platforms. You’ll maintain communication templates and keep outreach materials organized. - **Cross-Department Coordination:** You’ll work closely with sales, customer success, design, and operations to ensure information and deliverables flow smoothly between the podcast team and other business functions. You’ll track action items and follow up to ensure nothing stalls. - **Project & Logistics Coordination:** You’ll help coordinate and execute in-person episode recordings at our headquarters in New York City. You’ll help manage equipment shipments, travel for conferences or live shows, and other special projects that support the podcast team. - **Sponsor & Client Support:** You’ll support sponsor communication, track deliverables, and ensure all episode requirements and commitments are executed accurately and on schedule. - **Reporting & KPIs:** You’ll pull performance data, maintain dashboards and trackers, and organize reporting systems the team relies on. - **Office Management:** You’ll serve as our office manager, keeping the NYC office organized, well-stocked and clean. You’ll oversee maintenance needs and help with office issues as they arise. You’ll also assist with planning and coordination for in-office events. - **Vendor & Platform Management:** You’ll maintain accounts, access, and documentation for platforms like Megaphone, YouTube, Descript, Airtable, and social media tools used by the podcast team. - **Operational Workflow Support:** You’ll keep documents, trackers, databases, and internal systems organized. You’ll identify bottlenecks and propose improvements that help the podcast team work faster and more clearly. Experimentation is frequent at Blockworks. Comfortability with being uncomfortable is a must. ## What You’ve Done Before You come from an operations or coordination role built around quick turnarounds and clear communication — bonus if that was in media, crypto, finance, or tech. You’ve managed busy calendars, coordinated across multiple teams, and communicated professionally with external partners or clients. You’ve supported projects from kickoff through completion and kept systems, documents, and workflows organized so teams can move quickly. You’re comfortable picking up new tools, keeping information flowing between stakeholders, and making sure tasks move from “assigned” to “done.” You understand how timing, clarity, and strong follow-through keep production running smoothly, and you’re confident being the person who ensures the details get handled the right way. ## It’d Be Great If You’ve Done This You’ll stand out if you’ve supported podcast or media production before — things like coordinating guests, helping with episode logistics, or keeping a production pipeline organized. Experience working with sponsor or client deliverables is a plus, as is familiarity with tools like Airtable, Megaphone, YouTube Studio, Descript, or other production or operations platforms. It’s also helpful if you’ve supported live recordings, managed equipment shipments, or assisted with conference or event logistics. ## Salary, Benefits, & How We Work This is a full-time exempt position with an expected salary of $75,000. ## Location New York ## Employment Type Full time ## Location Type Remote ## Department Product ## Compensation - $165K ## About Us Blockworks is an information platform that sits at the center of the crypto industry. We transform raw, complex data and facts into actionable research, trusted alpha-driven insights, and world-class events. The result is transparency and confidence. We enable investors, operators, and institutions to see past the noise, make better decisions, and drive the industry forward. ## Who You Are You’re an ambitious, independent designer who’s excited to shape a category-defining product in the rapidly moving crypto industry. You move easily between detail-heavy data work and high-level concepting, and you’re skilled at managing your time across shifting priorities. You plan ahead, anticipate what a project will need, and take ownership of unblocking yourself and your teammates when requirements shift or ambiguity shows up. You have a strong design perspective and come to working sessions with fresh, creative ideas, but you’re just as ready to champion a teammate’s approach when it’s the right one. You communicate clearly, have strong presentation and stakeholder management skills, and feel confident sharing work with a wide range of teammates at different stages of the design process. And because our users are crypto-native, you’re comfortable meeting them where they are—often on X or Telegram. Whether it’s a protocol, app team, or blockchain project, you like hearing directly from the people we’re building for and using that feedback to shape the product. ## What You’ll Do As the founding **Senior Product Designer** at Blockworks and the second hire on the product team, you’ll play a huge role in shaping our entire product experience—from the website and gated research to, most importantly, our next-generation, data-heavy SaaS platform. This role is highly visible, highly impactful, and reports directly to the VP of Product. You’ll be involved in every part of the design process: talking to customers, exploring early concepts, mapping workflows, and partnering with Product and Engineering to bring thoughtful, polished designs into production. You’ll help steer the product roadmap and set the bar for our design practice, owning our design system, component library, and the overall craft of design at Blockworks. Every day will look a little different, but in general, you will do things like: - **Own end-to-end feature design:** You’ll work with Product and Engineering to break down ideas, define scope, and choose the right level of fidelity for each phase. You’ll take new features from ideation into prototyping, user testing, and production. - **Communicate clear, well-reasoned design decisions:** You’ll use Figma to create crisp, thoughtful visuals that communicate your concepts and decisions to Product, Engineering, and Data & Advisory stakeholders. You’ll stay close to Engineering through check-ins and QA to ensure your designs translate as intended. - **Lead qualitative and quantitative user research:** You’ll run interviews and usability tests and pair these insights with Mixpanel data and competitive analysis to inform new features and deepen understanding of existing ones. - **Bring customer empathy into UX decisions:** You’ll build relationships across the organization and with users, presenting ideas and leading sessions with cross-functional teams or customers to gather feedback, gain buy-in, and improve product thinking. - **Design clear, intuitive data-heavy workflows:** You’ll apply strong information architecture skills to simplify complex journeys, audit product surfaces for quick UX wins, and continually refine flows and conversion funnels across dashboards, apps, and the website. - **Set the foundation for our design practice:** You’ll establish design standards, processes, and rituals that support high-quality work today and scale as the team grows. - **Lead and evolve our design system:** You’ll own our component library and visual patterns, creating a cohesive, scalable design language as the product expands. - **Shape long-term product direction:** You’ll work closely with the VP of Product to translate customer insights, data, and business needs into a thoughtful design vision and roadmap. Experimentation is frequent at Blockworks. Comfortability with being uncomfortable is a must. ## What You’ve Done Before You have 5+ years of product design experience with a portfolio that shows real ownership of complex, end-to-end product work. You’ve designed for data-heavy, B2B products and can point to dashboards, interactive charts, and decision-making tools that turn complex information into clear, intuitive experiences. You’ve contributed to 0→1 products before and know how to take an open-ended problem and shape it into something shippable. You move quickly, make smart tradeoffs, and aren’t afraid to go lean or ship an MVP when it’s the right call. You’ve partnered closely with engineering, data, and product teams in fast-moving environments and know how to use those relationships to push work forward. You’ve worked inside small, high-trust teams where you needed to self-direct, make decisions without perfect clarity, and juggle multiple priorities at once. You’re comfortable navigating shifting requirements and the typical chaos of startup environments, and you consistently deliver high-quality product work even when the landscape is changing. ## It’d Be Great If You’ve Done This You’ll feel right at home if you’ve worked in or around crypto or financial data, and even more so if you’re tuned into crypto’s rhythms and know how to meet customers in crypto-native spaces like X and Telegram. You’ll be ahead of the curve if you’ve partnered with multi-disciplinary teams like data, research, advisory, or services, and know how to pull useful insights from groups with different perspectives to strengthen product thinking. Experience with operator-focused or protocol-adjacent workflows — or shaping products for protocols, analysts, or decision-makers — is also a strong plus. ## Salary, Benefits, & How We Work This is a full time exempt position with an expected salary of $165,000/year. ### Benefits **Remote-First:** We're a remote-first organization with an office in NYC for you to utilize as you please. **100% Medical Coverage for You:** Close to fully paid medical, dental, and vision insurance for you, and a significant portion covered for your dependents. **Flexible PTO:** We have a flexible paid time off policy that doesn't limit the number of vacation days you can take. **Parental Leave:** At Blockworks, all team members are eligible for 14 weeks of fully paid parental leave. **Hardware Stipend:** Every team member has a stipend to use to purchase the tools and technology that help them be their most productive. **Learning & Growth Stipend:** Every team member has a stipend to spend on their skill growth and professional development. **Career Growth:** We provide clear paths for career progression and professional development within the company.
