## Sphere Labs The infrastructure moving the world's money today was built for another era: slow rails, walls between markets, and compliance layered in over time creating friction. Sphere Labs is building what comes next: modern, compliance-native infrastructure for cross-border payments and settlement, designed from the ground up to work for the businesses and regulated institutions it actually runs through. We work in active partnership with banks, licensed entities, and the regulators and jurisdictions shaping how global money moves, because the infrastructure that earns institutional trust has to be built alongside it. Backed by Coinbase, Kraken, The Chernin Group, Jump Trading, Hudson River Trading, and some of the world's largest sovereign affiliates, we're a fully remote, global team building at the moment stablecoins are crossing into mainstream finance and regulated institutions are ready for modern rails. We hire self-starters: strong communicators and systematic thinkers who can look at a blank page and build something real. If you want a meaningful role in how global money movement evolves, and the upside that comes with getting in early, we'd like to meet you. --- ### What You'll Do - Own the product roadmap for Sphere's Brazil market initiatives, working directly with regulated banking partners to bring stablecoin-powered cross-border payment products from concept to launch. - Lead product discovery, scoping, and delivery for cross-border payment flows — from BRL collection and FX conversion through stablecoin settlement and USD payout. - Drive API integration strategy between Sphere's infrastructure and partner banking platforms, defining requirements and working closely with engineering to ship. - Work with engineering - setting priorities, writing specs, and unblocking execution day-to-day. - Serve as the primary product interface with stakeholders at local partners — building trust, navigating regulatory nuance, and aligning on product direction. - Work cross functionally with other product domain owners to ensure flows meet the needs of global customers, as well as compliance and regulatory requirements from US based entities. - Define and track product metrics using data to inform direction and decisioning. - Identify and scope new product opportunities within the Brazil market beyond the initial partnership — including new customer segments, payment corridors, and stablecoin use cases. --- ### What We're Looking For #### Must-Haves - **3–5 years of product management experience.** Not product ownership, not project management — actual PM work: running discovery, writing specs, shipping product, and iterating based on what you learn. - **Payments domain experience.** You've worked on bank integrations, payment processors, FX, or settlement infrastructure. You understand how money moves and what breaks. - **Experience at a regulated financial institution or fintech operating under financial regulation** — a bank, a licensed payment processor, an FX broker, or equivalent. You've shipped product where compliance isn't optional. - **You've taken at least one product from inception through launch.** Doesn't need to be massive — but you understand the full arc from problem discovery through scoping, build, and go-live. - **Fluent in English and Portuguese, with strong written communication in both.** You'll be writing specs, partner-facing documents, and internal strategy in both languages — often in the same day. - **Experience working directly with engineering teams.** You've had a squad and you've been in the weeds with them on prioritization, tradeoffs, and technical decisions. - **Developed platform and/or API products.** We are an API-first company and our teams must be developer-centric in how we approach our product. #### Strong Preferences - **Experience at a fintech or financial institution operating in Brazil, or at a US-based company with Brazilian market exposure.** Knowledge of integrating with local payment rails (ex. PIX) and payment partners is an important part of the payment lifecycle. - **A mix of company stages on your resume.** Pure startup experience is fine as part of the story, but we're looking for someone who has also operated within a more structured environment — a company with established processes, cross-functional dependencies, and organizational scale. - **Crypto or stablecoin experience.** You've worked on digital asset products, custody, on/off ramp infrastructure, or blockchain-based payment rails. Specifically in context of a regulated blockchain-related product. - **Comfortable interfacing with senior executives at partner companies.** This role involves regular interaction with C-level and director-level stakeholders at regulated institutions. You need to hold your own in those rooms. #### Nice-to-Haves - **Technical background** — CS degree, engineering experience, or equivalent experience working with API products, evaluating technical architecture, and interfacing with highly technical stakeholders. - **Spanish language proficiency.** We work closely with partners across LATAM, with many of our customers having Spanish as their primary language. --- ### Why Sphere? We sit at the intersection of crypto infrastructure and regulated finance — at the moment those worlds are finally converging. That means: **The window is now:** For the first time in decades, the backbone of cross-border payments is being rebuilt. Legacy systems are fading, stablecoins are entering institutional finance, and the next settlement layer is being shaped right now. We're building it alongside the institutions that will run it, not around them. **High ownership, no playbook:** This is early-stage work. You'll be making decisions, building processes from scratch, and setting the direction instead of just following one. We're looking for people who don't wait for instructions, but jump in and figure things out. **Adaptability is the job:** Strategy pivots here aren't failures, they're how we stay ahead of a fast-moving market and that's our strength. **Real traction, real stakes:** SpherePay is live and trusted by 200+ businesses. SphereNet is in active development with banks and regulators across 18 jurisdictions and counting. There's real demand, real momentum, and a huge opportunity to shape what comes next. *When applying, mention the word CANDYSHOP to show you read the job post completely.*

## The Role We're hiring an **Enterprise Account Executive** to lead our go-to-market efforts in Brazil. This is a high-impact, senior individual contributor role for a proven enterprise seller who understands the Brazilian payments ecosystem inside and out—and sees where stablecoins fit into its future. You'll own the full sales cycle from identifying opportunities to closing multi-year enterprise deals. Your targets are the fintechs, banks, and payment service providers (PSPs) that are shaping Brazil's financial infrastructure. You'll sell to senior finance and payments leaders, helping them understand how stablecoin rails can reduce costs, accelerate settlement, and unlock new revenue streams. This is a building role. You'll be instrumental in defining our Brazil GTM strategy, informing product development for the region, and establishing Sphere as the trusted infrastructure partner for stablecoin payments in Latin America's largest economy. ## What You'll Do - **Own the Full Sales Cycle** - Identify, prospect, and close enterprise deals with fintechs, banks, PSPs, and large corporates in Brazil - Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes with procurement, legal, compliance, treasury, and C-suite buyers - Run discovery, demos, commercial negotiations, pilot programs, and implementation handoffs - Consistently meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets. - **Build & Manage Pipeline** - Leverage your existing network in Brazil's payments ecosystem to generate qualified opportunities - Develop territory and account plans that prioritize high-value, strategic accounts - Maintain disciplined pipeline hygiene and deliver accurate forecasts - Identify and manage local referral partners in the FX industry - Partner with Marketing on targeted campaigns, events, and content for the Brazilian market. - **Sell Value at the Executive Level** - Position stablecoin infrastructure as a strategic advantage—articulating FX savings, settlement speed, treasury optimization, and new product opportunities - Build business cases and ROI models tailored to each prospect's operations - Develop trusted relationships with CFOs, Heads of Treasury, Heads of Payments, and Chief Product Officers - Navigate regulatory and compliance conversations with confidence. - **Be the Voice of Brazil** - Represent Sphere at industry events, conferences, and in media engagements across Brazil - Provide market intelligence on competitive dynamics, regulatory developments (BCB, CVM), and customer needs - Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Compliance to ensure our platform meets the specific requirements of Brazilian customers - Contribute to building a world-class sales playbook for the region. ## What We're Looking For ### Must Have - 8+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience with a consistent track record of exceeding quota selling to fintechs, banks, or PSPs - **Deep payments and FX experience**— you understand cross-border flows, treasury operations, correspondent banking pain points, and how money moves in and out of Brazil - **Crypto/stablecoin experience**— you've sold blockchain infrastructure, digital assets, or crypto-enabled payments products (or you've been a buyer of these solutions) - **Existing relationships in Brazil's payments ecosystem**— you have a book of business and a network of senior contacts at target accounts that you can activate from Day 1 - **Full-cycle enterprise selling skills**— you're equally comfortable sourcing your own pipeline, running a technical demo, negotiating an MSA, and quarterbacking a pilot. - **Native Portuguese fluency** and professional English proficiency - **Based in Brazil**, ideally São Paulo, with willingness to travel internationally. ### Nice to Have - Experience selling to or working at Tier 1 Brazilian banks (Itaú, Bradesco, Santander, BTG) or leading fintechs (Nubank, PicPay, Mercado Pago, Stone, PagSeguro) - Understanding of Brazilian regulatory landscape — BCB instant payments (Pix), CVM regulations, crypto licensing developments - Background in treasury, FX trading, or payments operations - Experience at a high-growth startup scaling in Brazil - Spanish proficiency for broader LATAM opportunities. ### The Profile You thrive in ambiguity and move fast. You're not waiting for inbound leads—you're building your own pipeline from relationships you've cultivated over years in the market. You can credibly speak to a Head of Treasury about FX exposure and settlement risk, then pivot to explaining stablecoin rails to a Chief Product Officer exploring embedded finance. You're entrepreneurial but disciplined. You bring structure to chaos—territory plans, account maps, forecasting rigor—while staying flexible enough to adapt as we learn what works in the market. You believe stablecoins are the future of payments infrastructure, and you want to be at the forefront of that shift in Latin America's most important market. *When applying, mention the word CANDYSHOP to show you read the job post completely.*
