On-Chain Quant Researcher

On-Chain Quant Researcher | Crypto Trading

We're working with several crypto trading firms looking for researchers who can extract alpha from blockchain data.

The work spans building data pipelines from on-chain sources, parsing smart contract logs (EVM/Solana/Cosmos), classifying wallet addresses, and turning it all into tradeable signals. You'd be working closely with traders and quants – what you build goes straight into production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build data pipelines from on-chain sources
• Parse smart contract logs (EVM, Solana, Cosmos)
• Classify wallet addresses and entities
• Develop and implement tradeable signals from on-chain data
• Collaborate directly with traders and quantitative researchers

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Comfort working with messy, unstructured blockchain data

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience running node infrastructure
• Direct experience working with DeFi protocols
• Exposure to Rust or Solidity
• Prior experience at a trading firm, a blockchain protocol, or as an independent researcher
