Senior Engineer (Full-Time) – AlphaFC

About AlphaFC

AlphaFC is building a fan-governed football platform that connects real-world clubs with digital governance. The platform includes live stats, rosters, game commentary, fan voting, and an upcoming team token (ATFC).

We are entering a new phase focused on stability, quality, and expansion of core features, and are looking for a senior engineer to take long-term ownership of the platform alongside product and operations leadership.

The Role

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the AlphaFC platform across:
  • Frontend (React / Next.js)
  • Backend (Node / APIs)
  • Solana / smart contract components (governance, voting, token logic)
• Implement and iterate on core features, including:
  • Onchain voting and governance mechanisms
  • Platform performance and data accuracy
  • Player and team pages, including video-first content
• Improve:
  • Code quality and structure
  • Developer experience and documentation
  • Reliability, security, and observability
• Work closely with product and design to translate requirements into robust implementations
• Support and eventually help onboard additional engineers

What We’re Looking For

Must Have

• Strong full-stack background
• Experience building and maintaining production systems
• High standards for code quality and maintainability
• Clear, direct communication and comfort receiving and giving feedback
• Ability to work independently and take ownership

Strong Plus

• Web3, token, or onchain governance experience
• Experience with data-heavy or real-time applications
• Early-stage startup experience
• Prior experience mentoring or leading other engineers
• Familiarity with Supabase, Vercel, or similar platforms

• The platform becomes easier to understand, maintain, and extend
• Core features are stable, accurate, and trusted
• New engineers can onboard smoothly
• Technical decisions are documented and intentional
• Product iteration speeds up without sacrificing quality
