The Role

We are looking for a Senior Engineering Lead with deep DeFi experience to take ownership of our engineering roadmap and lead the development of our market-making infrastructure. This is a hands-on technical leadership role; you’ll architect, build, and ship complex systems yourself while mentoring and managing a growing team of engineers.

You should have a strong background in backend systems, infrastructure, and security, with a deep understanding of DeFi protocols and smart contract architectures. You will guide the team on design, scalability, and security best practices while remaining directly involved in the codebase and core technical problem-solving.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing or mentoring engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, liquidity provision, AMMs, and market microstructure.
• Strong background in backend systems, infrastructure, and security.
• Proficiency in Rust and Solidity, with experience developing and deploying smart contracts.
• Strong understanding of private-key management, wallet infrastructure, and security best practices.
• Experience working with SQL databases, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud providers (GCP, AWS).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong curiosity about DeFi and willingness to stay on the frontier of on-chain innovation.
