## About the Team We are the security engineering team, skilled in cybersecurity, cloud security, application security, and regulatory compliance. Our global distribution allows us to leverage unique experiences and skillsets to build and operate security services that safeguard our platform. We prioritize a proactive approach to prevent security issues and stay ahead of potential threats, ensuring the continuous protection of our services. ## The Role: Security Engineer, Product Infrastructure The **Security Engineer, Product Infrastructure** is an early-career role for engineers who want to deepen their experience in cloud and product security while working hands-on with tools like Wiz and our broader security stack. You’ll help monitor and respond to security findings across our AWS and Kubernetes environments, partner with product and platform engineering teams to drive remediation, and support our vulnerability management program. You’ll participate in a shared on-call rotation with guidance from senior team members to support production security incidents and keep our controls reliable and effective. ### In this job, you'll: * Respond to security tickets and alerts: investigate issues, gather context from logs and dashboards, and collaborate with Security Engineering and product/platform teams on next steps. * Partner with product, platform, and infrastructure teams to understand security findings, explain risk in clear terms, and support them in implementing secure configurations across AWS/GCP, Kubernetes clusters, and shared services. * Utilize core security tools to protect critical product cloud infrastructure (for example Wiz, CrowdStrike, SonarCloud, Okta, and related platforms). * Participate in an on-call rotation (with onboarding and shadowing) for security incidents and critical security tooling issues, providing structured triage, documentation, and communication until resolution or hand-off. * Contribute to security reviews for new services and major infrastructure changes, helping identify misconfigurations and recommending practical mitigations that fit team workflows. * Learn to read and make small, well-reviewed changes to Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and Kubernetes configurations to help embed guardrails, hardening standards, and security checks into our infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. * Collaborate with partners across Security, IT, Platform Engineering, Legal, Risk, and Investigations, building strong working relationships and practicing clear, empathetic communication. ### We’re looking for candidates who have: * 2+ years of experience in security operations, security engineering, or a closely related infrastructure or cloud role (for example SecOps analyst, junior security engineer, or cloud/DevOps engineer with strong security exposure). * Hands-on experience with at least one security tool used in modern cloud or product environments (Wiz, Orca, CrowdStrike, SonarCloud, Upwind, or similar), and an interest in becoming the go-to person for issue resolution. * Scripting experience in Python or Go (or similar) to automate repetitive tasks, integrate tools, or build small utilities that make the team more efficient. * Prior participation in an on-call rotation for production systems or security incidents, even in a shadowing or secondary role. * Experience working with tickets, incidents, or production issues, and following a structured process to investigate, document, and resolve or escalate them appropriately. * Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain what you’re seeing and what you recommend as a next step to both technical and non-technical audiences. * A learning mindset and growth orientation: you’re comfortable asking questions, seeking feedback, and taking ownership. ### Nice to have experience: * Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and Kubernetes concepts — you don’t need to be an expert yet, but you should be comfortable learning how infrastructure and security controls are expressed as code. * Experience contributing to a Vulnerability Management Program or similar process, such as helping track security findings, prepare reports, or coordinate remediation work with engineering teams. * Familiarity with security frameworks (such as SOC 2 or NIST) or regulated environments, and how they influence security controls and documentation. * Interest in or exposure to crypto infrastructure, and a desire to grow your skills at the intersection of security, blockchain, and AI. ### Technologies we use and teach: * **Cloud and containers:** AWS, GCP, Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) * **Infrastructure-as-Code:** Terraform * **Security tooling:** Wiz, CrowdStrike, Cloudflare * **CI/CD and source control:** GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and related build/deploy tooling * **Languages and scripting:** Python, Go, Java, Javascript ## About Chainalysis Blockchain technology is powering a growing wave of innovation. ## Procurement Lead Chainalysis is seeking a finance-minded procurement leader to drive disciplined spend management, vendor rationalization, and strategic buying across the company. This role owns the end-to-end procurement strategy, with a strong mandate to optimize costs, consolidate software and vendors, and ensure purchasing decisions align with financial plans and business priorities. This is a highly visible role suited for someone who thrives in a high-growth environment and is motivated by delivering measurable savings, improving unit economics, and supporting sustainable scale. ### What You’ll Do * Partner closely with Finance to manage vendor spend in line with budgets, forecasts, and company-wide financial objectives, driving cost savings and cost avoidance through disciplined renewals, pricing benchmarks, demand management, and structured sourcing strategies. * Own the vendor portfolio with a mandate to rationalize and consolidate software and technology vendors, reducing redundancy, improving utilization, and lowering total cost of ownership. * Lead high-impact negotiations across key spend categories, particularly software and technology, running competitive RFx processes and negotiating pricing, contract structures, and commercial terms that deliver measurable financial outcomes. * Act as a strategic business partner by providing financial analysis, market intelligence, and pricing benchmarks to guide vendor selection and spending decisions early in the purchasing lifecycle. * Own and automate the end-to-end procure-to-pay process, including intake, vendor onboarding, spend review, approvals, and purchasing, while enforcing procurement policy and a strict “no purchase order, no pay” standard. * Identify and implement workflow automation and AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency, spend visibility, compliance, and scalability of procurement operations. * Ensure procurement processes support strong financial controls, audit readiness, and policy compliance while remaining efficient and user-friendly for stakeholders. * Define and track procurement KPIs focused on savings, vendor concentration, utilization, and procurement ROI, delivering clear, data-driven reporting to Finance and executive leadership. * Partner closely with Legal, Security, and Compliance to manage contract risk, third-party due diligence, and regulatory considerations across the vendor lifecycle. * Drive change management and stakeholder enablement to ensure procurement policies, tools, and processes are well understood, adopted, and embedded across the organization. ### What You Need * 8+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management, ideally in a high-growth technology or SaaS company. * Demonstrated success driving cost savings, vendor rationalization, and software consolidation initiatives. * Strong financial acumen, with the ability to tie procurement decisions directly to budgets, forecasts, and unit economics. * Deep negotiation experience across software and technology categories; comfort partnering with Legal and redlining contracts. * Experience operating as a strategic business partner, influencing cross-functional leaders without direct authority. * Familiarity with modern procurement and spend-management tools (e.g., Coupa, Zip, Omnea, Levelpath). * Ability to thrive in lean environments with evolving processes and priorities. ### About Chainalysis Blockchain technology is powering a growing wave of innovation. ## Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure The engineering team at Chainalysis is inspired by solving the hardest technical challenges and creating products that build trust in cryptocurrencies. We’re a global organization with teams in Denmark, UK, Canada, Israel, and the USA who thrive on the challenging work we do and doing it with other exceptionally talented teammates. Our industry changes every day and our job is to create user facing products supported by a flexible and scalable data platform allowing us to adapt to those rapid changes and bring value to our customers. The Compliance organization is focused on growing the crypto ecosystem by simplifying the work needed for compliance and risk management at a massive scale. The next stage of growth for our Compliance platform comes from the largest banks and payment processors in the world who will require the highest level of compliance, security, and reliability. We are looking for a **Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure** to embed directly within our Product Engineering team. In this role, you will champion self-service infrastructure, moving away from the model of a "sole owner" to one of shared responsibility. Operating at the intersection of software development, infrastructure, and reliability, you will act as a force multiplier for the squad. You will partner with engineering teams to co-design and modernize our toolchain, focusing on expediting feature delivery while simultaneously fortifying our systems to adhere to the exacting standards required by our new institutional clientele. You will also galvanize deeper collaboration between Platform and Product engineering teams. ### In this role, you’ll: - Empower the teams to own their release quality and build the tooling, automation, and guardrails that allow product engineers to manage their own CI/CD pipelines and deploy to production independently. - Codify the standards for a TradFi-ready foundation. Working collaboratively with the team, you defined and implemented the Infrastructure-as-Code patterns that meet our rigorous security and compliance needs. - Ensure that compliant, secure-by-default infrastructure is easy for developers to provision, preventing you from becoming a bottleneck. - Embed a culture of proactive reliability. You helped the team define their own Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and actionable alerts, by establishing clear observability standards, and give developers the visibility they need to own the health of their services and detect issues before our customers do. - Successfully level up the team to be self-sufficient in debugging pipelines and managing basic infrastructure. ### We’re looking for candidates who have: - A strategic blend of DevOps, Infrastructure, and SRE principles to set architectural patterns, guiding the team on how to build systems that balance velocity with reliability. - Experience steering technical modernizations, helping teams migrate from legacy systems to modern standards (such as Kubernetes, IaC, and Github Actions) while maintaining product momentum. - Thrive in an embedded model, enabling your squad to unblock themselves through better tooling and education while acting as a strategic bridge to the central Platform team. - An understanding of the rigor of FinTech or Enterprise SaaS, knowing how to design system constraints for institutional clients where reliability is a contractual obligation. - Foster a culture of shared ownership, preferring to coach engineers on operational best practices rather than functioning as a permanent support desk. ### Technologies we work with: Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Terraform, AWS, Java, Kafka, PostgreSQL ### About Chainalysis Blockchain technology is powering a growing wave of innovation.
