## **Monad Foundation** The **Monad Foundation** is a team of dedicated ecosystem and community builders who are on a mission to massively grow the impact of decentralized tech. We believe that the Monad blockchain—the performant and parallel EVM Layer 1—will help decentralized apps eat the world. ### **The Role** We're looking for a **Business Development Lead** to position Monad Foundation's efforts to build out the Financial Institutions vertical. This is an entrepreneurial, high-autonomy role for someone who thrives on building from zero, identifying opportunities, forming partnerships, and creating momentum around real financial usage on the blockchain. This is a dual-mandate role. On one side, you will own Monad's financial institution relationships — building the pipeline, advisor network, and institutional narrative that positions Monad as the chain of choice when banks, exchanges, and market infrastructure providers evaluate where to build on-chain. On the other, you will own the operational backbone of Monad's institutional communications function — keeping stakeholders informed, tracking ecosystem and token health, and ensuring this function runs with consistency and quality. ### **What You Will Do** #### **Financial Institutions – BD & Advisory** - Build and manage a structured pipeline of target financial institutions — banks, exchanges, clearing houses, asset managers, and market infrastructure providers (e.g., CME, ICE/NYSE, DTCC, Nasdaq, etc.) — tracking each organization across stages of engagement: awareness, evaluation, pilot, and committed. - Develop deep, trust-based relationships with senior decision-makers at major financial institutions, with a focus on the individuals and teams responsible for blockchain strategy, digital assets, and infrastructure decisions. - Cultivate internal champions within each target institution, recognizing that institutional decisions involve multiple stakeholders and that durable progress requires building a coalition, not relying on a single relationship. - Develop and execute an advisor and influencer strategy — identifying and engaging the consulting firms, advisors, and intermediaries that shape how financial institutions think about chain selection. These relationships often have more bearing on institutional decisions than direct BD efforts alone. - Maintain a real-time, working view of which institutions are evaluating competing chains and infrastructure, and the underlying drivers of those evaluations. Develop a sharp, insightful positioning for why Monad is the better fit for specific institutional use cases. - Build Monad's presence in the forums, working groups, and industry bodies where institutional blockchain strategy is formed. - Develop and maintain Monad's institutional narrative — a clear, compelling, and technically credible articulation of why Monad is the right infrastructure partner for financial institutions building on-chain. #### **MON Ecosystem & Institutional Communications** - Own the operational cadence of institutional communications: drafting regular ecosystem updates, preparing materials for calls and meetings, and maintaining a consistent outreach rhythm with current and prospective institutional stakeholders. - Monitor sentiment across institutional channels, identifying shifts in perception early and surfacing them internally with context and recommended responses. - Support the development and refinement of Monad's institutional narrative, ensuring stakeholders have a clear and differentiated understanding of what Monad is building and why it matters. - Manage the logistics and follow-through of institutional relationships — ensuring no current stakeholder or warm prospect goes dark due to operational gaps. ### **Who You Are** #### **Background** - 6-10 years of experience in one or more of the following: financial institution partnerships, institutional BD, management consulting with a financial services focus, or a crypto infrastructure company where you have seen the pipeline of institutions looking to build on the blockchain. - Direct exposure to how large financial institutions evaluate, procure, and adopt new technology infrastructure — you understand the internal dynamics, stakeholders, and timelines involved. - Existing relationships within financial institutions, consulting firms, or the broader institutional crypto ecosystem that give you a running start. #### **Skills** - Exceptional written communication — investor updates, institutional materials, and narrative documents you produce should be clear, precise, and credible without requiring heavy editing. - Familiarity with token markets and institutional investor behavior — you understand how institutional allocators think about digital assets, what drives conviction, and what erodes it. - Comfortable managing multiple workstreams with different audiences and timelines simultaneously, without dropping quality on either. - Analytically sharp enough to track competitive dynamics across chains and synthesize institutional feedback into actionable intelligence. ### **Why Work with Us** - **Challenging problems.** You'll tackle deeply complex and technically demanding problems, with autonomy and impact. - **Endless Opportunity for Impact.** The Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) standard is ubiquitous, but existing EVM-compatible chains are slow and bandwidth-constrained. Monad's core innovations offer developers and founders the best of both worlds (portability and performance) and are a game-changer to power global on-chain finance. - **The right team.** You'll be part of a world class team, who are exceptional and highly-motivated. - **Culture.** We're a lean team working together to achieve very ambitious goals. We are united in our culture of collaboration, low ego, and high-quality output. - **Strong Ecosystem.** The broader Monad ecosystem has attracted support from leading investors, builders and long-term contributors. Tokenization Lead

onsite/hybrid in new-york united-states

## **Monad Foundation** The **Monad Foundation** is a team of dedicated ecosystem and community builders who are on a mission to massively grow the impact of decentralized tech. We believe that the Monad blockchain—the performant and parallel EVM Layer 1—will help decentralized apps eat the world. ### **About The Role** Tokenization of real-world assets is one of the most significant structural shifts happening in financial markets — and Monad is positioned to be the home for it. As **Tokenization Lead**, you will own the end-to-end effort to build a thriving RWA ecosystem on Monad: sourcing and onboarding asset issuers, unlocking on-chain utility, and ensuring tokenized assets reach investors and end users at scale. This is a hands-on, execution-oriented role. You will manage the full workflow — from identifying and closing asset issuers, to coordinating with DeFi protocols and risk curators to make those assets useful on-chain, to working with distribution partners to put them in front of the right investors. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across BD, DeFi, and ecosystem partnerships, and report into senior leadership overseeing Monad's financial institutions effort. ### **What You Will Do** #### **Issuer Sourcing & Onboarding** - Identify, engage, and onboard asset managers, tokenization platforms, and fund managers looking to issue or migrate tokenized assets onto Monad. - Build and manage a structured issuer pipeline, tracking prospects from initial conversation through to live issuance. - Develop a point of view on which asset classes to prioritize — balancing institutional credibility, investor demand, and Monad-specific differentiation — and execute against that thesis. - Build early relationships with traditional financial institutions and asset managers, laying the groundwork for longer-term TradFi issuance on Monad. #### **On-Chain Utility & DeFi Integration** - Coordinate with borrow/lend protocols and risk curators to ensure tokenized assets are integrated into DeFi primitives — lending, collateral, yield — once live on Monad. - Manage incentive conversations with protocols to drive liquidity and usage of tokenized assets on-chain. - Work toward common standards for how assets are issued and composed on Monad, providing predictability for issuers and clean integration paths for DeFi protocols. - Ensure secondary market liquidity exists for tokenized assets on-chain, making the ecosystem credible to serious investors beyond just issuance. #### **Distribution** - Work with Monad's BD and ecosystem teams to ensure tokenized assets reach end users at scale — through crypto-native allocators, retail platforms, e-wallets, CEXs, super-apps, fintechs, and neobanks. - Understand and track who is holding tokenized assets on Monad, for how long, and why — using that data to refine sourcing priorities and build the case for new issuers. #### **Market & Regulatory Intelligence** - Maintain a clear view of the competitive tokenization landscape — which assets are being issued where, which platforms are gaining traction, and why issuers choose one chain over another. - Develop working knowledge of the regulatory environment across key jurisdictions, understanding which asset types are viable where and ensuring Monad is positioned ahead of regulatory shifts rather than reacting to them. #### **Cross-Functional Collaboration** - Serve as the connective tissue across issuers, DeFi teams, risk curators, and distribution partners — ensuring the tokenization workflow runs with accountability and momentum. - Feed tokenization pipeline developments into Monad's broader investor relations and capital markets narrative, ensuring institutional MON investors understand the ecosystem being built. ### **What We Are Looking For** #### **Background** - 5–10 years of experience in one or more of the following: RWA or tokenization, asset management, institutional product at a digital asset firm, capital markets or structured products at a financial institution, or BD at a DeFi protocol with institutional focus. - Direct familiarity with how tokenized assets work on-chain — you understand the issuance process, the role of risk curators and lending protocols, and what makes an asset useful versus merely issued. - Experience managing multi-party workflows across issuers, protocols, and distribution partners. #### **Skills** - Strong relationship builder — comfortable engaging both traditional finance counterparts (asset managers, fund administrators) and crypto-native teams (DeFi protocols, risk curators, wallet platforms). - Commercially sharp — able to identify which assets and issuers will move the needle for Monad and prioritize accordingly. - Operationally organized — this role requires managing a complex, multi-stage pipeline across multiple counterparties simultaneously without losing track of where things stand. - Clear communicator — able to translate between the language of TradFi and on-chain finance depending on the audience. #### **Mindset** - Execution-oriented. You are comfortable owning a workflow end-to-end and driving it forward without waiting to be directed. - Curious about the asset side of the equation — you follow which asset classes are gaining institutional traction, who the credible issuers are, and where demand is emerging. - Collaborative — success in this role depends on working well with internal teams and external partners across very different contexts. DeFi Success Lead

Monad Foundation

<p></p><p>The <strong>Monad Foundation</strong> is a team of dedicated ecosystem and community builders who are on a mission to massively grow the impact of decentralized tech. We believe that the Monad blockchain--the performant and parallel EVM Layer 1--will help decentralized apps eat the world.</p><p></p><h4><strong>The Role</strong></h4><p>DeFi on Monad is live. Protocols are deploying. Now the real work begins.</p><p>We're looking for a DeFi Success Lead to own Monad Foundation’s strategy for supporting the growth of Monad's DeFi ecosystem - not just what lands on the chain, but how deep it goes. You'll work directly with the protocols already building on Monad to help them grow their TVL, expand their product surface, and unlock the integrations that make each one more valuable than it could be in isolation.</p><p>A core pillar of this role is plugging real-world assets into DeFi. You'll connect tokenized asset issuers - treasuries, credit, fund products - with the lending protocols, yield vaults, and liquidity infrastructure on Monad that can make those assets productive onchain. You've probably already done some version of this. You know how RWA looping strategies work, how collateral gets structured in lending markets, and how to get institutional capital comfortable deploying into DeFi.</p><p>This role reports to the VP of Go-to-Market and sits at the center of Monad's ecosystem strategy. You'll be the person protocol teams call when they want to grow — and you'll have the Foundation's resources and network to help them make it happen.</p><p></p><h4><strong>What You Will Do</strong></h4><ul> <li><p><strong>Own protocol growth end-to-end.</strong> Build tailored growth plans with DeFi protocols on Monad - collaborating on liquidity incentive and co-incentive campaign structures, identifying missing integrations, and tracking TVL and volume against targets. You're not handing protocols off after they launch; you're accountable for their success.</p></li> <li><p><strong>Build the RWA x DeFi flywheel.</strong> Source and manage relationships with tokenized asset issuers and connect them with the right lending protocols, yield vaults, and stablecoin infrastructure on Monad. Design the looping strategies and collateral structures that make RWAs composable and yield-generating onchain - not just listed.</p></li> <li><p><strong>Connect the dots across the ecosystem.</strong> Identify cross-protocol opportunities that create compounding value - pairing a lending market with a DEX for deeper liquidity loops, or connecting a yield vault with an RWA issuer to expand TVL. You'll see the ecosystem as a system, not a list of individual protocols.</p></li> <li><p><strong>Bring institutional capital onchain.</strong> Work with institutional LPs, asset managers, and capital allocators to identify opportunities to deploy into RWA-backed DeFi products on Monad. You're comfortable in both the DeFi-native and TradFi-adjacent worlds, and can speak credibly to both.</p></li> </ul><p></p><h4><strong>Who You Are</strong></h4><ul> <li><p>You've spent meaningful time inside DeFi collaborations or ecosystem growth -working with a Layer 1, Layer 2, or major protocol affiliated org - and you have a track record of growing TVL and user activity, not just signing deals</p></li> <li><p>You've worked with RWA protocols or tokenization platforms before and understand how tokenized assets move from issuance into productive DeFi yield - collateral structures, redemption mechanics, oracle dependencies and all</p></li> <li><p>You understand how lending markets, AMMs, yield vaults, and liquidity incentives interact - and you can diagnose why a protocol isn't growing and propose concrete solutions to fix it</p></li> <li><p>You've worked with institutional counterparts - asset managers, family offices, or similar - and know how to get capital comfortable with DeFi-native infrastructure</p></li> <li><p>You operate with high autonomy, hold yourself accountable to metrics, and treat protocol success as your own</p></li> </ul><p></p><h4><strong>Why Work with Us</strong></h4><ul> <li><p><strong>Challenging problems. </strong>You’ll work on extremely challenging problems with massive impact.</p></li> <li><p><strong>Huge opportunity.</strong> The Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) standard is ubiquitous, but existing EVM-compatible chains are slow and bandwidth-constrained. Monad’s core innovations offer developers the best of both worlds (portability and performance) and are a game-changer for mass user adoption in crypto.</p></li> <li><p><strong>The right team.</strong> You’ll be part of an exceptional and highly-motivated team</p></li> <li><p><strong>Culture</strong>. We’re a lean team working together to achieve very ambitious goals. We are united in our culture of collaboration, low ego, and high-quality output. As an early member of our team, you’ll help continue to shape our culture.</p></li> </ul> When applying, mention the word CANDYSHOP to show you read the job post completely.
