Working hand-in-hand with Product, Design, Sales, and Open Source Engineering, the team owns messaging, go-to-market strategy, content, and events that position OpenZeppelin as the standard for blockchain development. ## What You'll Be Doing As OpenZeppelin's **Content Marketer**, you will own the creation, coordination, and distribution of content across all marketing channels. Your role is to manage content calendars, produce high-quality written content, and ensure consistent messaging across platforms—from social media to blog posts to website copy. You will be the organizational backbone of our content operation, balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution. ## You Will - Own content operations by managing and maintaining content calendars across all channels (X, LinkedIn, blog, website), ensuring consistent publishing schedules and strategic alignment. - Create compelling content by writing and editing blog posts, social media updates, website copy, case studies, and other marketing materials that resonate with our diverse audiences—from developers to Financial Institutions. - Manage multichannel distribution by adapting content for different platforms while maintaining brand voice and ensuring maximum impact across each channel. - Expand content channels by developing and launching new content initiatives including newsletters, video scripts, and other formats that drive engagement and conversions. - Collaborate cross-functionally by working with Product, DevRel, and technical teams to translate complex security and blockchain concepts into clear, engaging content. - Optimize content performance by tracking metrics, analyzing what works, and continuously improving content quality and effectiveness. - Maintain content standards by ensuring all published materials meet OpenZeppelin's quality bar, brand guidelines, and messaging frameworks. ## Location - All positions at OpenZeppelin are 100% remote, however you should be located between UTC-8 and UTC+2 to be considered for this position. ## You Have - 3+ years in content marketing, preferably in B2B tech, blockchain, or developer-focused environments. - Exceptional writing skills with a portfolio demonstrating versatility across formats—from technical blog posts to social media to long-form content. - Strong organizational abilities and proven experience managing content calendars, meeting deadlines, and juggling multiple projects simultaneously. - A solid understanding of blockchain technology and smart contract development, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively. - Attention to detail with meticulous editing skills and commitment to quality. ## Nice to Have - Familiarity with SEO best practices and content optimization. - Experience with content management systems and marketing automation tools. - Skills in content formats beyond writing (video, design, multimedia). - Understanding of Financial Institutions and enterprise marketing. - Experience building and growing newsletter programs. ## Logistics Our interview process takes place on Zoom and tends to consist of the following stages: 1. Your role is to manage and nurture these relationships, ensuring that marketing announcements, content, and event initiatives are coordinated from strategy through execution. You will work with external teams and internal stakeholders to meet deadlines amid extended approval processes, all while maintaining a high level of project management and attention to detail. ## Location All positions at OpenZeppelin are 100% remote, however you should be located between UTC-6 and UTC+1 to be considered for this position. ## You will - Own client relationships serving as the main marketing contact for leading blockchain ecosystem clients, ensuring seamless communication and project coordination. - Develop & execute strategy by crafting tailored marketing plans for each client, guiding initiatives from initial concept through final execution. - Create and manage content by producing high-quality marketing materials, including blog posts, social media updates, and promotional content, and coordinating with external content creators if needed. - Coordinate cross-functionally by collaborating with external client teams and internal teams across marketing, product, and development to manage projects and meet deadlines. - Support events organization activations by planning and executing in-person events and digital activations that drive engagement with ecosystem partners. - Maintain high standards by ensuring that all initiatives adhere to timelines and quality requirements despite the complexities of extended approval processes. ## You have - 2+ years in partnership marketing, preferably within blockchain or tech environments. - Possess a good technical understanding of blockchain and smart contract development. - Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to produce engaging marketing content. - Exhibit exceptional project management skills and attention to detail, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time. - Have an attitude for cultivating and maintaining robust relationships with both external clients and internal teams. - Maintain a self-driven, collaborative mindset that thrives in dynamic environments. - Strong attention to detail, highly organized. ## Nice to have - Background working with developer relations or engineering teams - Experience working with open source communities and projects - Experience with partnership marketing performance measurement and reporting - Familiarity with developer-focused content creation (technical tutorials, documentation, guides) ## Logistics Our interview process takes place on Zoom and typically includes: 1.
