We are seeking a motivated and analytical Crypto Purchasing Specialist to join our dynamic team at Bitpay. This individual will play a critical and multifaceted role in our organization, gaining exposure to a diverse array of operations within the fast-paced and ever-evolving world of cryptocurrency purchases.

Key Responsibilities

• Executing cryptocurrency purchase orders in a timely and efficient manner according to established protocols
• Working closely with the finance team to ensure that all transactions are accurately reconciled and recorded in our accounting systems
• Researching and monitoring emerging trends, pricing, and market dynamics within the cryptocurrency industry
• Assisting in risk assessment processes to safeguard the company’s crypto investments
• Increasing operational efficiency by identifying and implementing process improvements within the crypto purchasing division
• Conducting compliance checks on transactions and ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and standards
• Preparing and presenting reports on purchasing activities and market analysis to senior management

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field is required
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a purchasing role, preferably within the crypto or financial industry
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a keen interest in market studies and trend forecasting
• Strong knowledge of cryptocurrencies and understanding of blockchain technology
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Strong proficiency in accounting and trade management software
• Able to work under pressure, handle a wide range of responsibilities, and meet strict deadlines
• Familiarity with and commitment to adhering to local, state, and federal financial regulations
