Role Overview

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee financial planning, reporting, and operational efficiency across our investment portfolio. This role is critical in ensuring that our internal teams and portfolio companies have the financial insights and controls needed to scale effectively in the fast-paced Web3 environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow for YZi Labs and selected portfolio companies.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders and investment committees.
• Conduct financial analysis for potential investments, including tokenomics modeling, DeFi protocols, and blockchain startups.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and Web3-specific financial reporting requirements.
• Support treasury operations, including management of crypto assets, wallets, and on-chain transactions.
• Collaborate with portfolio companies to implement strong financial controls and reporting frameworks.
• Provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and support strategic decision-making.
• Support investor relations and fundraising activities by preparing financial materials and performance reports.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in finance, preferably within venture capital, the crypto industry, or the technology sector.
• Strong understanding of blockchain, cryptocurrencies, tokenomics, DeFi, and Web3 business models.
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Experience managing multi-currency treasury operations (fiat + crypto).
• Familiarity with accounting tools, ERP systems, and crypto accounting platforms (e.g., CoinLedger, Ledgible).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
