Tokenized Energy revolutionizes access to US upstream oil & gas investments by tokenizing equity on the Base blockchain and by otherwise connecting oil and gas assets to onchain capital markets via other strategies. Our platform is reshaping traditional energy investing.

Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, TX, for a Vice President of Finance and Business Operations. The scope of responsibilities will be wide and deep, including the following:

1. Managing the Tokenized Energy Platform on a day-to-day basis:
   • Front-end tasks - coordinating with BD partner, reservoir engineer, land, & legal to pull new investment listings together for posting, including preparing investor presentations and models.
   • Back-end tasks - uploading new listings, building data rooms, managing asset level digital wallets, overseeing distributions, supervising customer service solution, etc.
2. Tech development: managing tech partner to build new versions of software and platform and ideating around new features.
3. Preparing financial models for oil & gas asset investment opportunities.
4. Managing outsourced financial and tax support service providers.
5. Identifying and pursuing potential strategic partnerships in the digital asset space.
6. Preparation of investor updates and related materials, including materials for future capital raises.
7. Research on the digital asset sector, with a focus on DeFi participants and industry structure.

Qualifications

• Work/investing experience in US upstream oil & gas required (at least 3 - 5 years preferred).
• Excel/financial modeling skills required (accounting skills not required).
• Experience pulling deals/investments together and coordinating with multiple constituents.
• Experience with software/blockchain-based financial structures a big plus.
• Familiarity/experience with DeFi concepts and industry participants strongly desired.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Ability to work on a small, entrepreneurial team with flat organization approach and handle multiple tasks both above and below pay grade.

Job Details

1. Remote position available for the right hire, but occasional in-person meetings required - our partners are based in Dallas/Fort Worth/Houston, so a Texas-based candidate strongly preferred.
2. Salary TBD based on experience and degree of job fit, potential equity participation in options pool after a trial period at the discretion of management.
