This role entails collaboratively working with the FCC’s fraud control tools, identifying and evaluating blockchain-based risks, and spearheading initiatives to enhance the organization's comprehension and utilization of blockchain technology and anti-fraud technology. We really do encourage everyone to proactively step outside of their job description if they see something that could be improved but the core of your role will involve: **Frame Production -** - Produce large quantities of frames (including cutting and pinning wood, mounting the prints, and assembling the final product) for fine art prints - Preparing the art prints for what is known as a “floating frame” – the works are mounted elevated on their backing - Assembling the frame completely free of smudges or marks, resulting in a carefully crafted final product **Quality Control -** - Ensure high quality at every stage of the production line - Inspect finished frames for defects (scratches, uneven corners, wrong dimensions) - Check artwork placement, (plexi)glass cleanliness, and backing security - Report flaws and ensure corrections are made before dispatch - Supporting the implementation of quality control protocols **Maintenance & Organization -** - Organize materials, tools, and workstations for efficiency - Monitor stock levels and inform the Framing Manager when to reorder - Support the Framing Manager in scheduling production to meet targets and deadlines - Help to ensure health and safety regulations are followed **Communication & Reporting -** - Communicate daily updates to the Framing Manager - Log progress on production jobs - Report any issues (e.g., delays, broken tools, low stock) - Liaise with suppliers or delivery staff on behalf of the Framing Manager, as needed **The main skills we’re looking for are:** - A hands-on, practical mindset – you enjoy working with wood and art - A good eye for detail – you take pride in delivering neat, high-quality work - A reliable and proactive attitude — you see what needs doing and get it done - An organised approach to work – you keep things running smoothly even when it’s busy **We think you’ll probably have:** - Basic technical knowledge of tools, equipment and materials (from framing, woodworking, or other similar experience) - Some prior experience in a workshop, production environment, or craft-based role (but it’s not a dealbreaker if you don’t have this experience) - Clear and friendly communication skills — whether you're talking to your team or updating a spreadsheet - An appreciation for art, design, or craftsmanship *Don’t meet every single requirement?
