## About Polymarket **Polymarket** is the world's largest prediction market platform. We enable individuals to express views on real-world events by trading on outcomes across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. Built as a peer-to-peer marketplace with no centralized "house," Polymarket aggregates diverse opinions into transparent, market-based probabilities that reflect collective expectations about the future. We're growing fast — both in terms of volume ($21B traded in 2025) and adoption as an alternative news source. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire. ## About the Role Markets don't sleep, and neither does customer demand. Weekends are when our volume spikes the hardest: sports outcomes resolving on Sunday afternoons, breaking news triggering market reactions on Saturday evenings, elections and major economic events landing whenever they land. We need a dedicated CX presence during those windows who can handle escalations, route the right issues to the right specialists, and keep the bar high. You'll be the senior point of contact during your shift. You'll handle incoming tickets, escalate into our internal specialty teams when needed, and serve as the eyes and ears on community channels during peak hours. ## What You'll Do - Own customer experience coverage across the ticketing system and monitor community and social channels during your shift - Handle complex and escalated tickets including market resolution disputes, withdrawal and funding issues, KYC follow-ups, and account access problems - Route tickets into the right internal specialty teams with clean tagging and proper PII handling - Hold the line during high-traffic market events — sports finals, elections, breaking news — with on-call awareness during shoulder hours - Draft macros and response templates for recurring issues and produce clean handoffs to the rest of the team - Stay inside approved customer language guidelines at all times — this is a regulated environment and tone matters ## What We're Looking For - 2–4 years in customer experience, customer support, or trust and safety, ideally at a fintech, crypto, gaming, or regulated consumer platform - Weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday) is a hard requirement — standard shift is 12pm–8pm PT / 3pm–11pm ET, with an optional four-day schedule of 11am–9pm PT - Strong written communication that shifts naturally between empathetic, firm, and neutral depending on what the situation calls for - Hands-on experience with CRM tooling: macros, tagging, ticket triage, basic reporting - Self-directed during your shift — you'll often be the most senior CX person online and need to know when to act and when to escalate - Clear understanding that this is a regulated U.S. platform and that customer comms must stay inside approved guidelines - (Plus) Prior experience escalating to trust and safety, compliance, or legal teams - (Plus) Exposure to KYC/AML workflows - (Plus) Familiarity with prediction markets, crypto, or other trading products - (Plus) Comfort with community and social channels as support and listening surfaces - (Plus) Experience working in a 24/7 support environment with on-call or follow-the-sun coverage ## Benefits - Competitive salary & equity - Unlimited PTO - Full Health, Vision, & Dental coverage - 401k match - Hardware setup: new MacBook Pro, big display, & accessories When applying, mention the word CANDYSHOP to show you read the job post completely.

Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire. ## About the Role Polymarket is looking for a **Senior Backend Engineer** to join our **DeFi Trading team** and own core improvements to our exchange systems. You'll work across low-latency APIs, high-throughput data streams, and settlement-aware order state, with a specific focus on evolving our CLOB engine to be faster, safer, and more concurrent as the platform scales. This role requires someone who can reason clearly about how on-chain transaction lifecycle, confirmations, reorgs, balances, approvals, and execution outcomes affect off-chain exchange state. The problems are deep, the stakes are real, and the work will be immediately visible in production. ## What You'll Do - **Own the CLOB engine's critical path.** Profile matching and orderbook hot paths, map settlement-sensitive state transitions, and drive improvements to latency, throughput, and async engine flow backed by benchmarks and production-grade evidence. - **Reduce lock contention without breaking correctness.** Debug concurrency issues, design safer queueing and backpressure for orderbooks, and improve the system's ability to handle materially more markets and order flow with lower tail latency. - **Build for observability and safety.** Instrument improvements with pprof, metrics, logs, and traces. Establish rollback guarantees and narrower critical paths that make production incidents easier to detect, diagnose, and resolve. - **Reason about settlement risk.** Understand how on-chain transaction effects ripple into off-chain exchange state, and design systems that handle crossed books, ghost fills, stale orders, cancel inconsistencies, and settlement edge cases correctly. - **Improve the runtime.** Reduce GC pressure, optimize CPU and memory allocation behavior, and push Go runtime performance to meet the demands of a high-throughput exchange at scale. - **Debug production incidents.** Own latency, correctness, and settlement-state incidents end-to-end, and drive follow-through that leaves the system measurably better each time. ## What We're Looking For - Production experience building low-latency backend systems at scale - Strong concurrency skills and a track record debugging lock contention, race conditions, and async correctness issues - Fluency in production **Go** and **Rust** - Deep observability experience: pprof, metrics, logs, and distributed traces - Experience with exchange systems that interact with EVM or blockchain settlement layers - Strong computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and profiling - (Plus) Direct experience with matching engines or exchange infrastructure - (Plus) EVM transaction lifecycle experience: confirmations, reorgs, and how on-chain state affects off-chain systems - (Plus) Go runtime and GC tuning experience - (Plus) Experience with **Redis**, **PostgreSQL**, **gRPC**, and **Protobuf** - (Plus) **Kubernetes** and **AWS** production operations experience ## Benefits - Competitive salary & equity - Unlimited PTO - Full Health, Vision, & Dental coverage - 401k match - Hardware setup: new MacBook Pro, big display, & accessories When applying, mention the word CANDYSHOP to show you read the job post completely.

We're not looking for another individual contributor: we need someone who can take full ownership of the Android side of Polymarket, lead and organize a team of engineers and contractors, and scale it as the platform grows. The right person brings strong Android expertise alongside the business judgment and cross-functional instincts to translate company goals into a great product. You'll work closely with product, design, and engineering leadership, and you'll be expected to have opinions not just about how things are built, but about what should be built and why. We move fast, priorities shift, and we need someone who thrives in a lean, high-ownership environment and knows how to bring others along with them. ## What You'll Do - **Own the Android product.** Take end-to-end ownership of Polymarket's Android experience, from technical architecture to product quality and roadmap execution. - **Lead and grow the team.** Manage and organize a team of engineers and contractors today, with a clear path to scaling as mobile becomes an increasingly central part of the business. - **Set the technical direction.** Make and own architectural decisions for the Android platform, ensuring the product is built to scale and maintained with discipline. - **Bridge business and technology.** Understand Polymarket's business goals deeply and translate them into technical strategy and prioritization. ## About the Role Polymarket is looking for a world-class backend engineer with deep blockchain knowledge to join our **Onchain Execution** team. This team owns the systems that sit between Polymarket's product and the chain — the relayers, transaction pipelines, RPC infrastructure, and settlement logic that make every trade possible. You'll be working on technically demanding problems at the intersection of distributed systems, blockchain protocols, and high-throughput backend engineering. The ideal candidate brings both fundamentals (clean code, solid databases, well-designed APIs) and fluency in how EVM networks actually work under the hood. If you've built or maintained relayer systems, worked on scalable RPC infrastructure, or contributed to core blockchain node software, this role is a strong match. ## What You'll Do - **Build and maintain onchain execution infrastructure.** Design and operate the relayer systems, transaction pipelines, and settlement logic that power Polymarket's markets end-to-end. - **Architect high-performance backend systems.** Build reliable, scalable APIs and services that handle high transaction volumes and real-time data with low latency. - **Own RPC and chain connectivity.** Implement and scale the endpoints and integrations that keep Polymarket reliably connected to EVM networks. - **Optimize performance and reliability.** Push the limits of throughput and efficiency across our onchain systems, ensuring seamless operation as volume grows. - **Enhance security and fault tolerance.** Apply best practices for secure, highly available distributed systems — especially in adversarial onchain environments. - **Contribute to code quality.** Participate actively in code reviews and help maintain a high engineering bar across the team. - **Stay close to the frontier.** Track developments across EVM ecosystems and blockchain infrastructure, and bring relevant innovations back to Polymarket's stack. ## What We're Looking For - 5+ years of experience in backend development - Strong fundamentals: clean, well-tested code; solid database design (PostgreSQL or equivalent); well-structured APIs - Solid understanding of how EVM networks work: transaction lifecycle, gas mechanics, mempool dynamics, smart contract interactions - Experience with systems-level languages: **Golang** is strongly preferred; Rust or C++ also valued - Familiarity with blockchain infrastructure: RPC nodes, event indexing, relayer architectures, or similar - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work through ambiguous, high-stakes technical challenges - **(Plus)** Direct experience building or operating a relayer system - **(Plus)** Experience with Ethereum rollup technologies (Arbitrum Nova, Optimism, etc.) - **(Plus)** Experience with BFT consensus engines, libp2p, or core node software - **(Plus)** Open source contributor in the blockchain ecosystem - **(Plus)** Active on ethresear.ch or similar protocol research forums ## Benefits - Competitive salary & equity - Unlimited PTO - Full Health, Vision, & Dental coverage - 401k match - Hardware setup: new MacBook Pro, big display, & accessories *When applying, mention the word CANDYSHOP to show you read the job post completely.*

We're growing fast — both in terms of volume ($21B traded in 2025) and adoption as an alternative news source. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire. ## About the Role Polymarket is looking for a **Senior Data Engineer** to help scale our data platform to support the next phase of the company's growth. Every trade, position, and resolution flows through a data layer that powers our entire user-facing product – leaderboards, PnL, activity feeds, positions, volume analytics – with sub-100ms latency targets at crypto scale. The team is small and high-ownership. We need a senior operator who can drive entire workloads end-to-end, not just execute on a defined roadmap. You'll be hands-on with design, architecture, and delivery. Your mandate: make Polymarket's analytics and serving data layer something the rest of the company can build on without thinking. Schema drift, parity gaps under migration, latency regressions, and cost blowouts all land on this role. When a product team asks "can the data layer answer this query under X ms at Y $/month," you're the one who can say yes confidently, or redesign the slice that makes it possible. ## What You'll Do - **Own the OLAP analytics layer.** Drive our columnar warehouse environment end-to-end: raw event ingestion → cleaned facts and dimensions → business aggregates → API-serving views. You'll own materialized view design, refresh cadences, dictionary catalog, query planning, and cost optimization. - **Partner on the OLTP serving layer.** Work closely with the team on high-write serving tables that back our product APIs – partition strategy, indexing, trigger pipelines, autovacuum tuning, and bloat monitoring – with sub-100ms read-path discipline. - **Shape streaming and data lake infrastructure.** Define Kafka topic schema contracts, evolve the S3 lake layout with modern table formats, and contribute to parity-validation tooling that guards data correctness under migration pressure. - **Design data models at scale.** Work with event-sourced, append-mostly data with chain-reorg semantics. Design the derivative analytics – PnL, realized/unrealized position tracking, cohort metrics – and formalize ownership boundaries between upstream ingestion and downstream analytics. - **Coordinate across teams.** Negotiate schema contracts with the warehouse-owning team and downstream consumers including frontend, notifications, and third-party integrators. ## What We're Looking For - 5+ years of data engineering on production systems serving real users at scale - Deep knowledge of OLTP/OLAP split architectures: you know when a row store wins, when a column store wins, and when to use both - Columnar warehouse expertise: **ClickHouse** strongly preferred; Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Apache Pinot accepted if fundamentals are solid - Data lake experience: Parquet, Iceberg (or Delta/Hudi), compaction strategies, S3 layout discipline - Streaming pipeline experience: Kafka, exactly-once vs. at-least-once reasoning, backpressure, consumer-group patterns, schema evolution - Strong data modeling fundamentals: star/snowflake, SCD patterns, CDC, idempotent event sourcing, dimensional vs. event-log tradeoffs - **PostgreSQL** at scale: partitioning, index design, autovacuum/bloat remediation, query planning, CDC triggers vs. logical replication - SQL fluency at warehouse scale: window functions, CTEs, dictionary-based enrichment, dialect specifics - Distributed systems reasoning: consistency models, event ordering, replay semantics, write-once vs. mutable state, reorg handling - **(Plus)** EVM indexing experience: rindexer, subgraphs, or comparable – this shortens ramp considerably - **(Plus)** Rust: you'll touch indexer and validation tooling codebases; comfortable reading and contributing - **(Plus)** Domain knowledge in DeFi, prediction markets, or order-book systems - **(Plus)** Observability and SLO thinking: Prometheus metrics design, dashboard discipline, alert-fatigue avoidance - **(Plus)** Python for SQL tooling, ad-hoc analysis, and one-off migrations - **(Plus)** Track record shipping a platform migration or greenfield data stack under a hard deadline ## Benefits - Competitive salary & equity - Unlimited PTO - Full Health, Vision, & Dental coverage - 401k match - Hardware setup: new MacBook Pro, big display, & accessories *When applying, mention the word CANDYSHOP to show you read the job post completely.*

We enable individuals to express views on real-world events by trading on outcomes across politics, economics, sports, culture, and current affairs. Built as a peer-to-peer marketplace with no centralized “house,” Polymarket aggregates diverse opinions into transparent, market-based probabilities that reflect collective expectations about the future. We're growing fast – both in terms of volume ($21B traded in 2025) and adoption as an alternative news source. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire. ## About the Role Polymarket is looking for a pragmatic and resourceful full-stack engineer to join our DeFi team. This role sits at the heart of how Polymarket operates. You'll own and evolve the systems that power every market we create and launch, while also building across the broader ecosystem of operational systems that keep a high-growth company running. Your primary focus will be the **Markets Portal**: the tooling, automation pipelines, and deployment infrastructure our team uses to bring new markets to life at scale. Beyond that, you'll touch a wide range of systems – from customer service APIs to operational workflows – that support the teams and processes behind our core product. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants real ownership, thrives on variety, and enjoys building things that have immediate, tangible impact. ## What You'll Do - **Own the Markets Portal.** Build and evolve the systems used to create, configure, and launch markets – the engine that drives Polymarket's content and growth. - **Build markets automation.** Design and implement pipelines that streamline how new markets are researched, structured, deployed, and managed at scale. - **Ship deployments end-to-end.** Take features and improvements from concept to production, with real impact on how the business operates every day. - **Work across a broad set of systems.** Beyond the Markets Portal, you'll build and maintain a range of operational systems (APIs, dashboards, workflows) that support teams across the company and tie directly into the core product. - **Work across the stack.** Touch both frontend and backend code, using modern frameworks to solve practical problems quickly and cleanly. - **Partner with operations teams.** Work closely with the people using these systems daily: understand their workflows, gather feedback, and iterate fast. - **Write clean, maintainable code.** Build systems that scale as Polymarket grows, and help keep our codebase high quality through code reviews and engineering best practices. ## What We're Looking For - 1+ years of professional software development experience - Solid experience building full-stack web applications - Strong skills in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and CSS - Experience with React and Node.js (Next.js is a bonus) - A bias for action: you're comfortable shipping quickly and iterating based on real feedback - Comfort with ambiguity and context-switching: you can manage multiple systems and stakeholders without losing momentum - Great communication and collaboration skills: you enjoy working across teams to solve real problems - A passion for blockchain, decentralized finance, and freedom of speech - **(Plus)** Experience with workflow automation or deployment pipelines - **(Plus)** Background in fintech, crypto, or data-heavy applications - **(Plus)** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent ## Benefits - Competitive salary & equity - Unlimited PTO - Full Health, Vision, & Dental coverage - 401k match - Hardware setup: new MacBook Pro, big display, & accessories *When applying, mention the word CANDYSHOP to show you read the job post completely.*

We're growing fast – both in terms of volume ($21B traded in 2025) and adoption as an alternative news source. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire. ## About the Role You're an engineer who builds things that make companies run faster. You see a manual process and your instinct is to automate it. You see a team bottleneck and you ship a tool to fix it — not next quarter, today. We're hiring someone to own internal AI at Polymarket. You'll identify inefficiencies across every team, then build the agents, automations, and infrastructure to eliminate them. This is a hands-on-keyboard, high-autonomy role. You are the team. ## What You'll Do - Find the highest-leverage problems across ops, finance, talent, CX, engineering, and marketing — then build AI-powered systems to solve them - Design and deploy agents, copilots, and automations using LLMs, APIs, and whatever tools get the job done - Write production code. Python, TypeScript, integrations across our stack (Notion, Linear, Slack, GitHub, etc.) - Build shared infrastructure: prompt libraries, eval harnesses, agent frameworks, RAG pipelines - Move fast. You should be experimenting with new models and tooling within days of release - Set the standard for how the entire company builds with AI ## What We're Looking For - **Engineer first.** You write production code daily. 5+ years building software - **AI native.** You live at the frontier — LLMs, agents, tool-use, evals, RAG. You don't just use AI tools, you build them - **Founder energy.** You've started something or operated like someone who has. End-to-end ownership, minimal direction - **Shipping > planning.** You'd rather deploy something useful today than architect the perfect system for months - **Full-stack.** You can build the API, the UI, the pipeline, and the infra without waiting on anyone - Founded or co-founded a startup (a plus) - Open-source AI tooling contributions (a plus) - Crypto / fintech / prediction markets background (a plus) ## How to Apply Resume, GitHub, and 2–3 AI systems you've built — show us the code and the impact. ## Benefits - Competitive salary & equity - Unlimited PTO - Full Health, Vision, & Dental coverage - 401k match - Hardware setup — new MacBook Pro, big display, & accessories When applying, mention the word **CANDYSHOP** to show you read the job post completely.

Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire. ## About the Role Polymarket is building **Polymarket US** — a fully regulated, exchange-grade product for American users. We're looking for a senior operator to own everything that touches how users get money in, stay verified, and trust the platform. You'll own the full payments and identity stack for Polymarket US — from the moment a user tries to fund their account to the moment they withdraw, and every compliance and identity checkpoint in between. This is a critical infrastructure role at the intersection of product, engineering, compliance, and external partnerships. ## What You'll Do ### Payments - Own all consumer and exchange payment rails end-to-end — including cards, ACH, bank transfers, wires, and stablecoins - Obsess over uptime, conversion rates, and success rates across every funding method. You will build the dashboards, set the SLAs, and own the outcomes - Understand the exchange and clearing implications of operating within a regulated environment — you should know what a clearing house is, what a DCO and DCM are, and how funding flows interact with the system as a whole - Build and maintain relationships with banks, card networks (Visa, Mastercard), and payment processors, including proactive work on fraud reduction, chargeback management, and expense management - Work cross-functionally across product, backend, and exchange teams to ensure funding flows are seamless from the user's perspective - Work with our compliance and risk teams to optimize payments in support of our users ### Auth & Identity - Own KYC end-to-end — including pass rates, rejection quality, and drop-off at every step of the funnel - Obsess and understand the what and the why behind rejections and false-positives - Monitor identity funnel metrics daily; run experiments to improve conversion without compromising compliance - Understand the regulatory requirements of operating as a CFTC-regulated exchange and translate them into identity requirements - Partner with compliance, legal, and external identity vendors to stay ahead of requirements ## What We're Looking For - 7+ years in payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure, ideally at a regulated exchange, neobank, or high-volume consumer fintech - Deep hands-on experience with payment rails (ACH, card, bank integrations), KYC/AML providers, and fraud tooling - You've managed real relationships with card networks or banking partners. You know who to call at Visa when there's a problem - Strong understanding of the US regulatory environment for financial products: CFTC, BSA/AML, KYC requirements - Product-minded: you read conversion funnels, run experiments, and care deeply about user experience, not just compliance checkbox-ticking - Technical enough to work closely with engineers, review APIs, and debug issues. You don't need to write Go but you should be able to read a webhook payload - Very comfortable with ambiguity and speed ## Nice-to-Haves - Experience at a CFTC-regulated entity (DCO, DCM, FCM) - Familiarity with prediction markets - Prior work with payment, risk, and compliance software such as Socure, Plaid, Stripe, Aeropay, and Checkout.com ## Benefits - Competitive salary & equity - Unlimited PTO - Full Health, Vision, & Dental coverage - 401k match - Hardware setup — new MacBook Pro, big display, & accessories *When applying, mention the word CANDYSHOP to show you read the job post completely.*

Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire.</p><p></p><p><strong>Why This Role Exists</strong></p><p>Polymarket is scaling from 110 to 230+ people in 2026. The company needs someone who owns the operating rhythm — planning cycles, cross-functional coordination, internal reporting — so that the VP of Ops can focus on strategic decisions rather than process management. This person is the operational backbone of the company: they make sure every org knows what they're building, why, and how it connects to the company's north star.</p><p></p><p><strong>What You'll Own</strong></p><ul> <li><p><strong>Planning cycles</strong>: Design and run quarterly and annual planning (OKRs, headcount, budget). You ran the 2026 planning process we just finished — now imagine owning that end-to-end, every quarter.</p></li> <li><p><strong>Internal analytics & reporting</strong>: Build the internal dashboards and reports that give leadership visibility into what's working and what's not. Partner with Data and Finance to create a single source of truth.</p></li> <li><p><strong>Cross-functional coordination</strong>: When Engineering, Marketing, and Markets need to align on a launch or initiative, you're the one making sure timelines, dependencies, and handoffs are clear.</p></li> <li><p><strong>Strategic projects</strong>: Lead high-impact projects that don't have a natural home — M&A integration, vendor evaluations, org design work, process improvements.</p></li> <li><p><strong>Office management oversight</strong>: Office Manager reports to you. You ensure the physical environment runs smoothly without it consuming your bandwidth.</p></li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>What You're NOT</strong></p><p>You're not an executive assistant. You're not doing calendar management or travel booking. You're a strategic operator who happens to be very good at execution.</p><p></p><p><strong>What Great Looks Like</strong></p><ul> <li><p>Within 30 days: You've mapped every recurring process in the company, identified the top 5 that are broken, and have a fix plan for each.</p></li> <li><p>Within 60 days: You've built the Q2 planning process from scratch, run it, and every org leader says it was the best planning cycle they've experienced.</p></li> <li><p>Within 90 days: Leadership has a weekly dashboard they actually read. Cross-functional launches have a repeatable playbook. Jacob has 5+ hours/week back.</p></li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p><ul> <li><p>4–7 years in strategy, consulting, ops, or chief of staff roles at a high-growth startup or top-tier firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, or equivalent startup experience)</p></li> <li><p>You've run planning cycles before and have opinions about what makes them good vs. performative</p></li> <li><p>Exceptional written communication — you can write a one-pager that a CEO would read and act on</p></li> <li><p>You're comfortable with ambiguity and can structure problems without being told how</p></li> <li><p>You've used modern tools (Notion, Linear, Ashby, spreadsheets) and can build systems, not just use them</p></li> <li><p>Prediction markets, crypto, or fintech experience is a plus but not required</p></li> </ul> When applying, mention the word CANDYSHOP to show you read the job post completely.

Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire.</p><p></p><p><strong>Why This Role Exists</strong></p><p>Polymarket's operational infrastructure is being built from scratch. There are dozens of processes that need to be documented, projects that need to be tracked, and systems that need to be stood up. The Ops team needs a high-output IC who can take a vague brief — "we need an onboarding process" or "document how market launches work" — and turn it into a clean, usable artifact that the whole company can follow.</p><p></p><p><strong>What You'll Own</strong></p><ul> <li><p><strong>Process documentation</strong>: You're the person who turns tribal knowledge into written playbooks. How does a market get launched? What's the onboarding flow for new hires? What happens when a VIP client has an issue? You interview the people who know, write it down, and make it findable.</p></li> <li><p><strong>Project coordination</strong>: Track and drive smaller operational projects — vendor onboarding, tool migrations, internal wiki buildout, data cleanup, policy documentation.</p></li> <li><p><strong>Internal knowledge base</strong>: Own the Notion workspace structure. You're the person who makes sure the company's institutional knowledge doesn't live in Slack threads and people's heads.</p></li> <li><p><strong>Recurring operations</strong>: Run recurring operational processes — weekly report compilation, meeting note distribution, action item tracking, vendor invoice processing.</p></li> <li><p><strong>Ad hoc support</strong>: Be the Swiss army knife for the Ops team. You can turn a messy conversation into a clean document</p></li> <li><p>You're a Notion / docs power user. You don't just use tools, you build systems in them</p></li> <li><p>You're proactive — you see a gap and fill it without being asked</p></li> <li><p>You're comfortable working across many functions and switching context frequently</p></li> <li><p>Interest in prediction markets, crypto, or fintech is a plus</p></li> </ul> When applying, mention the word CANDYSHOP to show you read the job post completely.

Built as a peer-to-peer marketplace with no centralized “house,” Polymarket aggregates diverse opinions into transparent, market-based probabilities that reflect collective expectations about the future. We’re growing fast: both in volume ($21B traded in 2025) and in adoption as an alternative news source. This role is focused on high-performance, low-latency backend systems that must be correct, fast, and resilient under real-world trading load. You’ll be a core individual contributor working with other senior engineers to design, implement, and optimize the systems that sit at the heart of Polymarket’s exchange. This is a high-ownership role with minimal bureaucracy and a strong bias toward execution. ## What you’ll do We’re looking for an experienced backend engineer who enjoys working close to the metal and solving hard distributed systems problems. - **Build the exchange backend:** Design and implement scalable, low-latency backend services that power Polymarket’s exchange, using C/C++ or other performance-oriented systems languages (Go, Rust, Java). - **Optimize for performance & scale:** Profile, tune, and debug systems with a focus on latency, throughput, memory usage, and correctness in production. - **Design distributed systems:** Build and operate robust APIs, data pipelines, and event-driven systems using messaging and streaming platforms (Kafka, Pulsar, RabbitMQ). - **Own reliability & operations:** Reinforce security, availability, performance, and scalability across backend systems, and participate in diagnosing and resolving production issues. - **Collaborate cross-functionally:** Work closely with engineers across product, infra, and data to ensure tight integration between the exchange and the broader platform. - **Contribute to code quality:** Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architectural decisions to maintain a high bar for engineering excellence. ## What we’re looking for - 4–7+ years of professional backend development experience, with strong proficiency in C/C++ (preferred) or another systems language (Go, Rust, Java). - Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, concurrency, memory management, and experience building low-latency, high-throughput systems. - Comfortable working on complex systems end-to-end, debugging production issues on Linux, and taking responsibility for correctness and performance. - **(Plus)** Experience in trading systems, HFT, gaming, telecom, or other latency-sensitive domains. - **(Plus)** Production experience with Kafka, Pulsar, or similar streaming platforms at scale. - **(Plus)** Familiarity with gRPC, Protobuf, ZeroMQ, or similar technologies. - **(Plus)** Experience deploying systems in cloud environments (AWS/GCP) and using containers. ## Benefits - Competitive salary & equity. - Unlimited PTO, Health, Vision, & Dental coverage. - 401k match. - Hardware setup — new MacBook Pro, big display, & accessories. ## About Polymarket Polymarket is the world’s largest prediction market platform. ## About the role Polymarket is looking for a **Senior QA Engineer** to build the quality assurance function from the ground up. You'll define how we test, what we test, and when code is ready to ship. This means building automated test infrastructure, establishing release processes, and eventually hiring a small team to scale the function. This is a foundational hire. There's no existing QA infrastructure. You're not coming in to run test cases someone else wrote. You're coming in to decide what quality looks like at Polymarket. ## What you’ll do - **Automated Test Infrastructure:** Build automated test suites from scratch covering web, backend APIs, and critical trading flows. We recommend TypeScript and Playwright, but you'll have input on the stack. - **Release Quality:** Define and own the release testing process. Work with the TPM to ensure releases are structured, tested, and still shipping fast. - **Product Coverage:** Deeply understand the product so you can identify what to test. Trading flows, market creation, settlement, edge cases that could cost users money. - **CI/CD Integration:** Integrate automated tests into the deployment pipeline so issues get caught before they hit production. - **Bug Tracking & Visibility:** Use Linear to track issues, coordinate with engineering on fixes, and maintain visibility into quality metrics. - **Team Building:** As we grow, hire and mentor 2-3 additional QA engineers to build out the function. ## What we’re looking for - 3+ years in QA engineering or SDET roles, with time at startups scaling quickly - Strong automated testing skills. You've built test infrastructure from scratch, not just maintained existing suites. Experience with modern frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, or similar) - Trading or fintech product experience. You've tested products where real money is at stake and understand what can go wrong. - Crypto/DeFi familiarity. Understanding of blockchain mechanics and how crypto products work. Strongly preferred - Full-stack testing experience across web applications and backend APIs - Comfortable with TypeScript or Python for test automation - Experience with CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar) - Strong communication skills. You can explain quality tradeoffs to engineers and push back when needed - **(Plus)** Experience at prediction markets, sports betting platforms, or trading exchanges - **(Plus)** Experience leading or mentoring a small QA team - **(Plus)** Performance and load testing background - **(Plus)** Mobile iOS testing experience - **(Plus)** Security testing exposure ## Benefits - Competitive salary & meaningful equity - Unlimited PTO, Health, Vision, & Dental coverage - 401k match - Hardware setup — new MacBook Pro, big display, & accessories. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire. ## About the role Polymarket is looking for a **Senior Technical Program Manager** to bring structure and execution rigor to a fast-moving engineering organization. You'll coordinate across our engineering teams, making sure cross-functional initiatives ship on time while building the systems and processes we need to scale. This is a foundational hire. We've grown quickly and don't have formal PM processes yet. You're not coming in to run a playbook. You're coming in to write one. ## What you’ll do - **Delivery & Execution:** Drive end-to-end delivery of technical initiatives across backend services, infrastructure, and consumer-facing features. Own timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment for our highest-priority projects. - **Cross-Team Coordination:** Be the central point of coordination across engineering, product, and leadership. Find blockers before they become problems. Keep teams aligned on priorities and sequencing. - **Process & Systems Building:** Design and implement the frameworks, rituals, and tooling that give us visibility into what's shipping and what's stuck, without adding bureaucracy for its own sake. - **Technical Translation:** Bridge product vision and engineering execution. You'll need to understand our architecture well enough to scope work and manage dependencies across teams. - **Documentation & Knowledge Management:** Set standards for technical documentation and decision records that actually get used. Make it possible to work async and preserve what we learn. - **Stakeholder Communication:** Own communication with leadership and cross-functional partners. Clear, actionable updates on status, risks, and tradeoffs. - **Team Development:** As we grow, help build out the program management function. This may include hiring and mentoring additional TPMs. ## What we’re looking for - 4+ years in technical program or project management, with time at early-stage startups scaling engineering teams (think 10 → 50+ engineers) - Consumer fintech or trading platform experience. You've shipped products where real money, real-time systems, and user trust are on the line - Track record of building PM processes from scratch, not just operating within existing frameworks - Technical depth. You can read a spec, understand architecture tradeoffs, and hold your own with engineers. Prior engineering experience is a big plus - Strong organizational and communication skills. You bring structure to chaos and write updates people actually read - Familiarity with Linear, Notion, or similar tools. Opinions about what good project management looks like are welcome - **(Plus)** Experience at prediction markets, sports betting platforms, or trading exchanges - **(Plus)** Crypto/DeFi familiarity, including understanding of blockchain mechanics and on-chain systems - **(Plus)** Smart contract exposure and ability to scope work involving contract development or audits - **(Plus)** Background in market microstructure, liquidity systems, or order matching ## Benefits - Competitive salary & meaningful equity - Unlimited PTO, Health, Vision, & Dental coverage - 401k match - Hardware setup — new MacBook Pro, big display, & accessories. ## Customer Success Rep ### About Polymarket Polymarket is a high-volume markets platform built around clear information, real-time decision-making, and a great customer experience. Our ambition is to be a trusted destination where customers can engage confidently—supported by best-in-class operational rigor, clear communication, and strong compliance practices. ### About the Role We’re looking for a client-facing **Customer Support Lead** with deep **financial services support/operations** experience to own the customer support experience across our **approved communication channels** (e.g., in-app chat and email). You’ll be a trusted voice for customers—resolving issues efficiently, spotting trends early, and building scalable workflows that improve both customer outcomes and operational efficiency. This role goes beyond answering tickets. You’ll help design support operations: improving triage and escalation, partnering cross-functionally (Payments, Risk, Compliance, Product/Engineering), and ensuring customer communications are clear, accurate, consistent, and regulator-ready. ### What You’ll Do * **Resolve customer tickets** through **approved support channels** (e.g., email, in-app chat), maintaining high-quality, compliant, and consistent communication. * **Triage, prioritize, and manage** a high-volume queue—distinguishing urgent, high-risk, and time-sensitive issues from standard inquiries. * Serve as a primary escalation point for complex cases and coordinate handoffs across internal stakeholders (Payments Ops, Risk/Compliance, Product/Engineering). * Support and troubleshoot **KYC/CIP** workflows, including identity verification issues, document collection, exception handling, and escalation to Compliance/Risk when appropriate. * Handle and investigate **payments-related** inquiries end-to-end, including: * **ACH**, **debit cards**, **Apple Pay**, and **wires** (required experience) * Deposit/withdrawal statuses, returns/reversals, limits, bank rejections, and transaction troubleshooting * Support **account access and security** flows, including login issues, 2FA support, secure verification steps, and account recovery. * Provide customer education and set expectations around the **trade lifecycle**, including **trading cycles, settlement timing, and clearing dependencies** that may impact balances, holds, or withdrawals. * Partner with internal teams to resolve issues related to **trade status, settlement breaks, clearing constraints, or post-trade restrictions** (as applicable to our workflows). * Draft and improve customer-facing **notifications, FAQs, macros, and help-center content** that reduce repeat contacts and improve clarity—especially around payments, verification, and settlement timelines. * Identify recurring pain points and drive **process improvements**: tooling, QA checklists, escalation playbooks, tagging/reporting, and operational controls. * Maintain high operational standards for documentation, internal notes, and handoffs—ensuring cases are auditable, consistent, and easy to pick up. ### What We’re Looking For (Must-Haves) * **4+ years** in a **financial services** environment (banking, brokerage, payments, fintech, exchanges, or similar) in a **support and/or operations** role. * Strong **client-facing** judgment and communication skills—clear, calm, and precise, especially under pressure. * Demonstrated ability to **triage, prioritize, and execute** in fast-moving environments while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. * Hands-on familiarity with **KYC/CIP** concepts and working alongside Risk/Compliance teams in a regulated setting. * Proven experience supporting payment rails: **ACH, debit cards, Apple Pay, and wires** (required). * Working knowledge of **markets and trading lifecycle fundamentals**, including execution → confirmation → **settlement/clearing**, and how timing differences can affect availability of funds. * High EQ: able to de-escalate tense interactions, set expectations clearly, and communicate policies with empathy and firmness. * Track record of **process improvement**: you don’t just solve tickets—you reduce future tickets and improve the system. ### Nice-to-Haves * Experience with identity and authentication tooling such as **Auth0** (strong plus) and/or modern 2FA/account security tooling. * Familiarity with regulator-ready communications practices (approved templates/macros, QA review, audit-friendly case notes). * Experience partnering with Product/Engineering on incident response, bug triage, and operational readiness. * Exposure to risk controls, fraud workflows, and operational break resolution in payments or trading environments. ### Benefits * Competitive salary & equity * Unlimited PTO, Health, Vision, & Dental coverage * 401(k) match * Hardware setup (MacBook Pro + accessories) * In-office lunch provided 5 days per week * Complimentary snacks and drinks in office When applying, mention the word CANDYSHOP to show you read the job post completely.

## About Polymarket Polymarket is the world’s largest prediction market. It’s half "put your money where your mouth is," half search engine for the future. We're growing fast – both in terms of volume (>$6B traded so far this year) and adoption as an alternative news source. Our ambition is to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media and we need your help adding fuel to the fire. ## About the Role We’re looking for a community-first customer support professional to own the user experience across live chat, email, and beyond. You’ll be the trusted voice of Polymarket for thousands of users, solving problems in real time, spotting trends before they become issues, and helping shape the way we engage with our community. This role goes beyond answering questions—you’ll develop processes, create tools, and work collaboratively with others to deliver the kind of support that keeps users coming back. If you’re the kind of person who thrives in fast-moving environments, loves free markets, and enjoys crypto culture, you’ll fit right in. ## What you'll do - Manage customer support inquiries, Discord messages, and live chat across multiple time zones. - Develop and lead a culture of delightful customer support across multiple channels (Discord, email, Telegram, and chat). - Act as a trusted point of contact for the community and escalate high-priority issues to product, design, and engineering teams. - Build internal programs, tools, resources, and training to help launch or improve product support workflows. - Ensure compliance with Polymarket regulations and standards. - Use data and customer pain points to identify opportunities to reduce customer friction. ## What we're looking for - The perfect candidate has operated at the intersection of finance, technology, and user engagement, and brings familiarity with fast-moving ecosystems at innovative trading, crypto, or gaming platforms. - We’re looking for someone with 4+ years of experience in financial services, fintech, gaming, or web3 — ideally with hands-on exposure to exchanges, digital asset platforms, or regulated fintech environments. - Experience in payments, market operations, KYC/AML compliance, or trading infrastructure is highly valued, as is a comfort navigating the evolving world of financial technology, crypto, and decentralized finance (DeFi). - Familiarity with managing large Discord or online communities is preferred, along with an understanding of current best practices for community engagement and moderation. - Polymarket is a 24/7/365 business, so availability to work shifts on weekends and outside of the "standard" work day is required. - You can pivot on the fly. Polymarket is constantly evolving, so our priorities do, too. What you worked on last month may not be what you work on today, and that excites you. You’re not looking for a boring job. - You want to be part of a winning team. We’re stronger together, and you’re a person who embraces being pushed out of your comfort zone. - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to simplify complex topics for broad audiences. - You’re never tired of learning. You want to be a pro in bleeding-edge tech like DeFi, Prediction Markets, DAOs, and Web 3.0. ## Benefits - Competitive salary & equity - Unlimited PTO, Health, Vision, & Dental coverage - 401k match - Hardware setup — new MacBook Pro, big display, & accessories. When applying, mention the word **CANDYSHOP** to show you read the job post completely.
