<p><strong>About The Role<br><br></strong>Zero Hash is looking for an experienced <strong>Engineering Manager, Tokenization</strong> with a passion for digital assets and blockchain products to lead the development of our asset tokenization and RWA (Real World Asset) infrastructure. We’re looking for a true technologist with a love of programming and a drive for technical excellence. We believe that the best managers are technologists first with a product mindset who seek to make a larger impact in their organizations.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong></p><ul>
<li>Work with a team of talented engineers and product managers to deliver tokenization products and features that support Zero Hash’s business.</li>
<li>Partner closely with product and program managers to ensure the tokenization roadmap is well understood and the team is able to plan and execute on expected outcomes.</li>
<li>Work with the team on technical planning to ensure that product requirements—such as smart contract logic and asset lifecycle management—are captured in the technical solution.</li>
<li>Partner with other Engineering Managers to drive the broader technical roadmap forward.</li>
<li>Support the engineering team in achieving a high level of technical excellence in blockchain development and integration.</li>
<li>Manage processes to help the team do its best work and interface effectively with the rest of Zero Hash.</li>
<li>Recruit, coach, and develop engineers, specifically those specializing in smart contracts and distributed ledger technology.</li>
<li>Help engineers establish career development plans within the evolving digital asset space.</li>
<li>Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of Zero Hash’s engineering management team.</li>
<li>Participate in essential technical, design, and product discussions with leaders across our product and operations teams.</li>
<li>Work with a wide range of stakeholders to build a clear vision for your team’s role in the tokenization ecosystem.</li>
<li>Oversee the success of your team's projects and achieve quantifiable results regarding asset issuance and throughput.</li>
<li>Introduce industry-leading engineering patterns and practices that give us the confidence to do bold things in the RWA space.</li>
<li>Make consistent development contributions so as to maintain competency with our codebase and system architecture.<br><br>
</li>
</ul><strong>Required Experience<br><br></strong><ul>
<li>10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with a significant focus on building and maintaining robust APIs and SDKs for B2B integration.</li>
<li>5+ years of engineering management experience, including managing staff and principal-level engineers.</li>
<li>BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering OR equivalent years of work experience.</li>
<li>Proven track record of managing teams that have delivered complex, production-grade blockchain or financial products.</li>
<li>Golang expertise, familiar with Go’s idiomatic approach and niches.</li>
<li>Familiarity with TypeScript and React for frontend services and dashboarding.</li>
<li>Deep Understanding of Tokenization & Blockchain:</li>
<ul>
<li>Expertise in smart contract development (Solidity, Rust, or Go-based chaincode).</li>
<li>Experience with token standards (e.g., ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, and security token standards like ERC-1400).</li>
<li>Knowledge of on-chain transaction flows, minting/burning logic, and oracle integration.</li>
</ul>
<li>Domain Knowledge:</li>
<ul>
<li>Solid understanding of the lifecycle of Real World Assets (RWAs) and their transition to digital ledgers.</li>
<li>Familiarity with custody solutions, multi-sig architectures, and MPC (Multi-Party Computation).</li>
<li>Understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to digital securities and tokenized assets (e.g., KYC/AML triggers on-chain).</li>
</ul>
<li>Core Infrastructure & Distributed Systems:</li>
<ul>
<li>Experience building and managing mission-critical backend systems such as high-throughput accounting/ledger systems.</li>
<li>Experience with distributed system design and messaging frameworks (e.g., Kafka, NATS, or ZeroMQ) for data distribution and persistence.</li>
<li>Expertise in writing highly concurrent, multi-threaded code and optimizing for high-throughput environments.<br>
