Archer (YC P26)
## About Archer Archer is building the future of business banking. We believe money should behave like software. Programmable, composable, and autonomous. Today, businesses still manage money manually through banks, spreadsheets, payment processors, and brittle workflows. Archer replaces this with an AI-driven banking platform where money moves automatically based on intent, policy, and real-world events. Archer allows businesses to program money movement using natural language. Instead of configuring complex rules, finance teams express what they want to happen in plain English. For example, how revenue should be split, when vendors should be paid, how commissions accrue, where excess cash should flow, or when capital should be deployed. Archer translates this intent into executable financial logic and enforces it continuously. At its core, Archer is an autonomous financial execution layer. It reads data and events from the apps your business already uses and moves money in real time based on that context. Payroll, payouts, vendor payments, incentives, and cash management run automatically without manual intervention. Archer is built on modern stablecoin rails and non-custodial infrastructure, enabling instant settlement, programmable policy enforcement, and global reach. AI agents reason over financial state, enforce constraints, and execute transactions on behalf of the business while maintaining auditability and control. We are building toward a world where businesses do not operate money workflows. They define intent once, and money moves on its own. Money should not be managed. It should be programmed. ## Responsibilities - Develop and implement new features and functionalities for our consumer-facing application, utilizing your expertise in React, Node.js, and serverless functions. - Write idiomatic, clean, and maintainable TypeScript code for serverless and scalable deployment. - Mock data relationships for database design and design RESTful APIs. - Implement responsive frontend designs using React. - Implement automated testing strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage for critical components. - Contribute to the overall architecture and technical strategy of the engineering team. - Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and guide junior engineers to promote growth and maintain code quality. ## Minimum Qualifications - Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - 2+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with a strong focus on Node.js and modern frontend frameworks like Next.js, preferably in the web3/crypto space. - Familiarity with the following: Node.js, TypeScript, NoSQL, Docker, Next.js, TailwindCSS, and advanced React concepts. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues effectively. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience with some of the following: AWS & CDK, MCP development, Langchain, Agentic RAG workflows, Solidity, Foundry. - Understanding of web3/crypto and blockchain concepts. ## Compensation - Competitive compensation package + equity. - Tight team == freedom to take ownership of projects and make a significant impact. - Working closely with the founders. *When applying, mention the word CANDYSHOP to show you read the job post completely.*

## CTO / Technical Lead Waybridge, backed by Ergonia, is building an institutional borrow/lend protocol on Canton Network. We have an operational mainnet validator, existing smart contract code, and active counterparty relationships with institutional participants. We are looking for a **CTO/Technical Lead** to take ownership of the protocol architecture, inherit and evolve our existing codebase from an external dev shop, and build the engineering team as the company scales. ### The Role This is a co-builder position. You will own the full technical surface of a financial protocol: from DAML smart contracts on a distributed ledger, through the backend settlement and accounting layer, to the institutional-grade frontend dashboards. You are equally comfortable auditing inherited code, designing a new module, and closing a senior engineer hire. The four pillars below define what we need. ### Responsibilities 1. **Financial System Architecture** Waybridge is a financial protocol, not a typical web app. Every data model, state transition, and API must be designed with the rigor of a system that manages real institutional positions. - Design and own the position lifecycle engine: origination, funding, accrual, partial repayment, recall, and closure - Architect a shared accounting layer that serves multiple lending modules - Model settlement flows, collateral custody, yield attribution, and reconciliation for bilateral agreements - Ensure correctness guarantees throughout: idempotency, audit trails, and immutable state history 2. **Fullstack Engineering (NestJS + Next.js)** Our stack is NestJS on the backend, a Rust indexer for ledger events, and React/Next.js on the frontend. You will inherit an existing codebase from an external dev shop and decide what to keep, refactor, or rebuild. - Audit the inherited backend and frontend codebase; determine the refactor-vs-rewrite strategy - Own the backend services layer: RESTful APIs, settlement engine, accounting services, WebSocket feeds - Extend and optimize the Rust indexer for new on-chain event types - Guide frontend architecture for data-dense institutional dashboards (portfolio views, real-time position tracking, yield analytics) - Establish CI/CD, testing standards, and code quality practices across the full stack 3. **Smart Contract Architecture (DAML / Canton)** The protocol layer runs on DAML, a Haskell-based smart contract language on Canton Network. DAML experience is extremely rare and not required, but direct experience is a major plus. What matters is strong functional programming instincts and the ability to ramp quickly. A production Haskell or Scala engineer can be writing DAML in weeks. - Lead DAML smart contract design for lending and staking modules - Define on-chain vs. off-chain boundaries: what the smart contract enforces vs. what the backend handles - Collaborate with Canton ecosystem partners on staking protocol design and network-level integration - Bring strong functional programming depth (Haskell, Scala) and apply it to contract modeling, type safety, and state machine correctness. 4. **Small Team Management** You will hire and lead a team of 2-4 engineers. This is not a management-layer role where you delegate and review. You are hands-on, writing code daily, while also recruiting, unblocking, and setting technical direction. - Hire a Senior Backend Engineer and a Senior Frontend Engineer in the first 4-6 weeks - Manage knowledge transfer from the existing external dev shop to your in-house team - Run sprint planning and translate product requirements into engineering execution - Partner directly with the CEO on product-to-engineering decisions, sequencing, and tradeoffs ### Requirements - 8+ years in fullstack or backend engineering, with at least 2-3 years in a technical lead or architect role - Production functional programming experience (Haskell, Scala, OCaml, or equivalent) - Background in financial services, fintech, or high-growth startups building systems with correctness requirements - Hands-on with TypeScript/NestJS or Rust; comfortable owning both backend and frontend - Experience hiring and managing small, growing engineering teams - Smart contract or distributed ledger experience (any chain) is a strong plus - Passionate about building from zero to one. You thrive in early-stage environments where speed, ownership, and resourcefulness matter more than process and hierarchy ### What We Offer - **Co-founder energy:** Meaningful equity with full architecture ownership from day one - **Real and operational:** Live mainnet validator, existing code, active counterparty relationships - this is not a whiteboard project - **Canton ecosystem:** Backed by Ergonia with access to Canton ecosystem resources and partners - **Institutional demand:** Counterparties are ready. You are building for real users, not hypothetical ones - **Lean team, high leverage:** Every architectural decision you make defines the protocol - Competitive salary and benefits - Equity with long-term upside aligned to the success of Waybridge. *When applying, mention the word CANDYSHOP to show you read the job post completely.*

FamilyCareCoop

## Technical Co-Founder — Family Care Cooperative **Boulder, CO | Full-Time, On-Site | Co-Founder Equity** ### The Short Version We're building the infrastructure for a new care economy — a worker-owned cooperative that replaces the extractive home care agency model with AI coordination, blockchain worker equity, and community care tokens. We need a technical co-founder who vibe codes prototypes at 10× speed and then architects production systems that real families depend on. **The tech:** React/Next.js, Solidity on Polygon, FHIR healthcare APIs, AI care coordination, and a federated SaaS platform designed to scale to 100,000 families. **The traction:** Boulder Community Health hospital partnership is in active discussion. $3.8M federal funding pipeline (CMS ACCESS + MAHA ELEVATE). Colorado tax credits are stacked. RMEOC cooperative formation underway. BVSD pilot channel identified (1,000 teacher families). ### The Problem We're Solving The $630B home care industry is structurally broken. Agencies extract 40-60% of every dollar as profit and overhead. Caregivers earn $15/hour with zero benefits and 77% annual turnover. Families pay $9,900/month for nursing facilities. 93 million Americans are caregivers with no infrastructure to support them. We're not fixing the existing model. We're replacing it. ### What You'll Build - **AI Care Coordination Engine** — Care matching algorithm (skills, proximity, personality, acuity). Predictive health monitoring (14-variable Care Readiness Index). Automated scheduling, billing, and EVV compliance with Colorado Medicaid. Natural language care plans and caregiver mobile tools. - **Web3 Worker Equity Infrastructure** — Smart contracts on Polygon for automated equity vesting (500 hours worked = full ownership share worth $52K over 5 years). ERC-20 Time Bank tokens for neighbor-to-neighbor care exchange. Self-sovereign identity (DIDs) for family health data ownership. - **Healthcare Data Platform** — FHIR-compliant API integration with hospital systems. HIPAA-compliant architecture. Real-time outcome tracking for CMS federal programs. Hospital discharge coordination dashboard. - **Federated Cooperative Platform** — "Hard Shell / Soft Center" architecture: national tech infrastructure, local care delivery. Multi-tenant SaaS licensable to cooperatives in every city. Employer HSA distribution integration. Community care marketplace. ### What We're Looking For **Must have:** - Ship MVPs in days using AI-assisted development (Claude, Cursor, v0, Replit) — you know what "vibe coding" means because you do it - Architect production systems that pass healthcare security audits — you know when to stop vibing and start engineering - Solidity smart contracts deployed to production (Polygon or Ethereum) - React/Next.js at a senior level — you've built and scaled real products - Comfort with ambiguity — you'll define the architecture, not inherit one - Boulder, CO-based or willing to relocate **Bonus points:** - Healthcare tech experience (FHIR, HL7, HIPAA compliance) - Cooperative or DAO governance design - Built token economies or DeFi protocols - Experience with CMS payment models or Medicaid billing - ML/AI pipeline development (not just prompting — model training) - You've built something that mattered to real people, not just raised money ### What You Get - **Co-founder equity** in FCC Technologies LLC. Significant stake. You own what you build. - **Compensation:** Competitive salary targeting Q3 2026 (hospital retainer + OEDIT grant funding). Sweat equity bridge until then. Open conversation about what works for your situation. - **Build from zero.** You're not inheriting legacy code. You're defining the architecture for a platform that will serve 100K families and create $52K in wealth for every caregiver who joins. - **A mission that actually matters.** Your code directly keeps aging parents at home for 1/3 the cost of facilities, creates real wealth for the lowest-paid essential workers in America, and builds community infrastructure through neighbor-to-neighbor care exchange. ### Your Co-Founder **Blaine Warkentine** — 15+ years in healthcare technology. Built BrainLAB's orthopedic vertical. Multiple healthcare M&A exits. Deep CMS/FHIR/regulatory knowledge. Currently running point on hospital partnerships, federal funding pipeline, state tax credit strategy, and cooperative formation. Needs someone who can turn the technical architecture into a production reality. ### How to Apply Send to **blaine@familycarecoop.com**: 1. Your GitHub (or equivalent portfolio) 2. One project you're proud of and why 3. Why building infrastructure for the care economy matters to you No cover letter. No resume formatting games. Just show us what you've built and tell us why you care. *Family Care Cooperative — Boulder, CO — Worker-Owned. Zero Extraction. Building the last defensible human economy.* When applying, mention the word CANDYSHOP to show you read the job post completely.
