Shopware is a leading ecommerce system that enables companies worldwide to scale quickly and efficiently in digital commerce. In this role, you’ll be part of the Agentic Commerce Lab, a startup-like team within our scale-up, dedicated to exploring how agentic systems will shape commerce by 2030. We build new products, run fast experiments, and prove what is possible. Join us on the zero-to-one journey and shape the future of commerce as part of a strategic moonshot at Shopware. This is not a "wait for requirements" kind of role. You operate as an entrepreneur inside Shopware, acting like an owner. You will drive ideas from inception to production. This position can be filled on-site, hybrid, or full-remote within Germany or specific European countries where we are registered. Your work location will be agreed upon in advance and forms the basis of your employment contract. Build what is next: You live in our customers' relative future. Push the edge of what is possible with the latest in AI, often without documentation or playbooks. End-to-end ownership: responsibility for your bets from idea to production. Ship fast: You can just ship things, both because you have the permission to and because you are comfortable iterating in public. Enable developer velocity: Make it trivial for engineers to ship new AI features without infrastructure becoming a bottleneck. Monitor the emerging stack: Track new infrastructure patterns for AI workloads and adopt what makes sense for us. Build infrastructure for unknowns: Create systems flexible enough to support AI experiments we haven't imagined yet. Own reliability and cost: Balance system uptime with infrastructure spend as usage scales unpredictably. This is what you’ll bring to the table: None of these is a hard requirement. Most important is a desire to continuously learn and live on the bleeding edge of AI developments. At the frontier, the only constant is change, and we're looking for folks who want to thrive here. Bias to action: You prefer prototypes over decks, and experiments over endless discussions. Self-starter DNA: You thrive in ambiguity and love figuring things out without a detailed map. AI native: You default to 10x yourself with AI. You stay at the bleeding edge of emerging model capabilities and are excited about sharing what you’ve learned with others. Vibe-code fluency: Hands-on experience with modern AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, v0, Lovable, etc.) and comfortable going from concept to clickable demo in a day. Product mindset: You care about outcomes, not just outputs, and design with merchants, shoppers, and developers in mind. Collaborative spirit: Open to learning from and co-building with peers inside and outside Shopware. Full-stack infrastructure: Comfortable with IaC, Kubernetes, serverless, databases, networking, pipelines, observability; whatever the team needs, you figure it out. Pragmatic perfectionism: You know when "good enough" ships and when reliability requires extra investment. Cloud cost obsession: You treat cloud spend like your own money and find creative ways to optimize without sacrificing capability. AI workload experience: Understanding of vector databases, model serving, inference optimization, and GPU provisioning. This is what we offer you: Be part of a strategic moonshot at Shopware and shape what's next in commerce. Access to dedicated AI budget, tools, and the freedom to move at startup speed. Company Culture: Open culture with flat hierarchies, where individual initiative is encouraged. Employment Contracts: Permanent positions that offer long-term security. Flexibility: Flexible working hours and options for mobile work and full-remote contracts. Equipment: Freedom to choose your preferred work hardware. Onboarding: Well-structured onboarding with support from a personal "buddy." Work Environment: An inspiring environment with dedicated colleagues and a dynamic community. Development Opportunities: Diverse opportunities for personal growth and development. Additional Benefits: Attractive perks such as company pension plans, health programs, and regular team events. ... and much more! You can get a detailed insight on our career page. Protecting your personal data is a top priority for us. You can find our applicant information here.

We are trading on more than 80 exchanges, and working with a wide array of asset issuers. As a well-established market maker, our distinctive expertise led us to expand rapidly. Today, our services span market making, options trading, high-frequency trading, OTC, and DeFi trading desks. But we’re more than a service provider. We’re an initiator. We're pioneers in adopting the Rust Development language for our algorithmic trading, and champions of its use in the industry. We support the growth of Web3 startups through our Accelerator Program. We upgrade ecosystems by injecting liquidity into promising DeFi, RWA, and NFT protocols. And we push the industry's progress with our research and governance initiatives. At Keyrock, we're not just envisioning the future of digital assets. We're actively building it. ## The Role As **Leader of Security Engineering**, you will set the technical direction and execution for Keyrock’s security engineering program—building secure-by-design cloud foundations, developer "paved roads," and cryptographic/key-management controls appropriate for a high-availability trading environment. This is a hands-on leadership role. Deep knowledge of AWS and AWS Key Management Service (KMS)—including key policies, grants, cross-account patterns, and rotation—is essential. ## What You’ll Do ### Security Engineering Leadership - Lead and grow a high-performing security engineering team (cloud, platform, application security), setting roadmap, standards, and measurable outcomes. - Establish engineering patterns that balance speed and control (secure defaults, automation-first, self-service guardrails). ### AWS Cloud Security Architecture - Own cloud security architecture for AWS: landing zone patterns, multi-account strategy, network segmentation, identity and access design, logging/telemetry baselines, and infrastructure hardening. - Build preventative controls using infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code; drive adoption across engineering teams. ### Encryption and Key Management (KMS is Core) - Own the enterprise encryption program in AWS, including KMS key policy design and governance (least privilege, separation of duties, break-glass, auditable admin/use roles). - Define safe grant usage patterns and operational best practices for AWS services and applications. - Own key lifecycle management: rotation strategy, aliasing/migration patterns, and recovery considerations. - Design cross-account and multi-account access patterns and controls aligned to Keyrock’s cloud operating model. ### Secure SDLC and Product Security - Embed security into the SDLC: threat modeling, secure coding guidance, code scanning, dependency controls, build-time checks, and release gates. - Partner with Platform Engineering to harden runtime environments (containers, Linux, CI/CD runners, secrets management, service-to-service authentication). ### Operational Partnership (Without Owning SecOps) - Partner with Security Operations to ensure engineering-driven outcomes: high-signal detections, incident response tooling readiness, forensic logging, and secure configurations that reduce blast radius. ## What We’re Looking For ### Required - 8+ years in security engineering (cloud, platform, and/or product security), with 3+ years leading teams or leading org-wide technical programs. - Expert AWS security experience in production environments (multi-account, high availability). - Deep AWS KMS expertise: key policies, grants, rotation, and cross-account usage patterns. - Strong working knowledge of IAM, identity design, and least-privilege access controls in cloud environments. - Proven ability to build security automation (infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD integration, policy enforcement, developer enablement). - Clear communication skills: can write standards/runbooks and influence senior engineers and executives. ### Nice to Have - Experience in trading, fintech, crypto, or other 24x7 and/or low-latency production environments. - Experience building paved-road platforms (golden pipelines, secure templates, internal developer platforms). - Familiarity with cloud security tooling ecosystems (CSPM/CIEM, vulnerability management, SAST/DAST, secrets tooling). ## Why Keyrock - Work on security challenges unique to digital-asset liquidity and trading across venues. - Build durable security capabilities for a high-impact, high-availability business. *When applying, mention the word CANDYSHOP to show you read the job post completely.*

The Quicknode team has over 120 people maintaining high performance global data infrastructure for amazing customers serving billions of requests daily. We are a global remote company with an HQ in Miami, Florida. ## The Role Make mainnet boring. We launch chains, keep them fast, and fix the stuff that shouldn’t break. You’ll run K8s at scale, ship IaC, lead incidents, and write the tooling that keeps production sane. If you can occasionally patch a client or upstream a small fix, even better. ## What We Actually Need - **Linux + Kubernetes:** You debug real production—networking, storage, rollouts, performance. - **IaC (Terraform/Helm/Ansible):** You ship repeatable infra, not snowflakes. - **Go or Python (plus Bash):** You automate noise away and build small, sharp tools. - **Blockchain operations:** JSON‑RPC internals; running/tuning RPC/validator nodes; log analysis. - **Observability:** SLOs/error budgets, Prometheus/Grafana instrumentation that people use. - **Networking:** Strong fundamentals (DNS/TLS/LB); you can reason about anycast/BGP when needed. ## What You’ll Do - **Launch & upgrade chains:** Standups, hard‑forks, snapshots, pruning, clean rollbacks. - **Automate everything:** Modules, golden images, CI/CD, zero‑touch deploys across regions. - **Run K8s at scale:** Safe rollouts, HPA/VS/ingress tuning, capacity & cost plans that hold up. - **Own incidents:** Lead SEV0–2, publish RCAs, and ship the change that prevents a replay. - **Build signal, not noise:** SLOs/error budgets, useful dashboards, alerts that only page when users hurt. - **Code where it counts:** Write/extend tools (snapshots, replay/load, state sync checks); occasionally patch client bugs that bite production and upstream when it’s worth it. ## Why This Role Stands Out - **Impact:** Your work lights up production; chain launches, reliability wins, performance gains. - **Pace > Ceremony:** Tight reviews, practical standards, minimal meetings, async‑first. - **Growth:** Own big surfaces; learn protocol internals while leveling up distributed systems chops. - **Remote‑first:** Follow‑the‑sun coverage; humane on‑call. - **Compensation & benefits:** Region‑aligned, bonus-eligible and shared early; no bait‑and‑switch. ## The Bar: Signals We Care About - Clear production ownership: blast radius understood, rollback plan ready. - SLO thinking with before/after on alert noise, latency, or MTTR. - Real RPC/validator ops experience (beyond a laptop demo). - Tooling/code that made ops better (Go/Python, IaC modules, or a small upstream fix). - You explain complex failures simply, and leave systems simpler. - Production experience with one or more of EVM (Geth/Erigon/Nethermind/Besu), Cosmos SDK/CometBFT, Solana (Agave/QUIC), or Substrate. - Multi‑cloud experience plus capacity & cost modeling that survived contact with reality. ## Hiring Process *Steps may vary slightly by region/seniority; we keep it lean.* 1. **30‑min** intro + context with Talent Acquisition 2. **60‑min** technical deep dive with the Hiring Manager (incidents you led, K8s/IaC trade‑offs, tooling you built) 3. **60‑min** hands‑on with Team Members (pair on a small plan/code review or targeted tool fix) 4. **30-min** meet a Founder ## Compensation & Philosophy International ranges, in local currency, will be discussed during the hiring process with applicable candidates.
